Reading the Tea Leaves

One thing that I feel pretty confident about is that Lindsey has the balls to act swiftly when he sees an opportunity to improve the franchise.

KOC was like that in a sense (DWill trade) but also hedged his bets waaaay to many times.

I could see Lindsey trading anyone really.

I've hated the term "Core 4" for the following reasons:
-They weren't
-They won't be
-It sounds like some stupid-*** Don King/Johnny Cochran bull ****

One of them (at least) won't be here in three years (at most).

Different times in their respective careers. Koc had his eyes set on retirement, Lindsey is still trying to make same for himself.

When your the forth worse defensive team in the league and the worse offensive team in the league, coaching is to blame. This is going to be a longggg season.

I think Favors is a PF and not a center. We have all been screaming for Favors to get more minutes, but it is difficult to going from a bench player to a full-time starter. It may take him a while for him to get his energy back as a starter.

I'm praying and hoping Burke's is a player, but I don't get the feeling he will work out. It's tough being a PG on the worse team in the league.

Michael Carter-Williams shot 32.7% from the FIELD in the Pre-Season, and 27.3% from three.

He will never learn how to get his shot off in the NBA. Geez, was that pick ever a mistake.
Both shot poorly. But MCW is 6'6". Trey isn't even 6'0" (I know his profile says 6', but I'd bet $100 he comes up short of that). In any case, even if he is just 6', Trey had difficulty even getting his shot OVER people in the SL. It wasn't a matter of just missing shots. And it's not like Trey has outstanding quickness. There have been many successful guards 6'0" and under. And almost all of them were lightning fast.

So essentially, what you're saying is that we shouldn't pay attention to MCW's pre-season shooting performances, because they were meaningless.

Thank you for confirming my point.

Trey came in at almost 6' 1" without shoes if I remember right why does everyone keep saying he his under 6 foot?

Different mandates. KOC was instructed to shoot for the playoffs every year. Lindsey has been given the reins to rebuild as he sees fit.

5'11.75 w/o shoes, which is taller than Kemba Walker, Chris Paul, Ty Lawson. 6'1" with shoes.

I got an inch on him. In more ways than one.

Didn't say that at all. What I said is MCW will have no problem getting his shot off. He isn't giving up 4 or more inches to his opponent. Even if a SG or a SF switches off, MCW still has the size to get off a jumper. Burke needs to get his shot off early. And forget about driving inside. It just isn't going to happen. Burke was an ok shooter in college: 45%/36% but there's nothing special about those %'s.
