Hayward has already done damage control on this, saying they are St Pat's shirts and he only bought them because he was able to get sizes for both girls, or something like that.

I actually feel better about the situation since this happened. I doubt he'd bother to explain away this incident if his mind was made up to leave.

I don't get what caused the fuss. When I saw the pic the thing I immediately thought was it was a cute pic of mom and daughter. It was quite clearly a St Patrick's day outfit. Kids get clothes dirty fast. You put them in whatever is clean. She was just doing Mom things and basketball crazed fans like us tried to make it into something more.
