Rockets @ Jazz - 7PM MST Wednesday- FSN

Sloan lost this game.

Hayward & Evans deserved more minutes. Especially in the 2nd have, both looked awesome. But, he followed his script and out they came.

I also would have had Evans in for the last play for his put back ability.

Out-coached.

Millsap was my choice as Scola didn't stop him first game or this game.

Not just that last bad call but how does a team jacking 3's get more FT's and HOU only got into the penalty in the 2nd qtr.

Miles and Bell together-clearly not working.

Missing wide open shots, spotty defense, all the bad stuff

Will KOC get his thumb out of his *** and do something?

I don't think it's KOC who needs to get his thumb out of his ***. The team dumped salary last season to get nearer the tax threshold. Then he was instructed to dump AK (until Carmelo backed out of the deal in the pre-season). Jazz are clearly NOT taking on salary just to improve their playoff position by 2-3 spots. And why should Greg Miller spend more of his cash on this train wreck? There's NOTHING this team can do to get to the level of San Antonio or LA. Jefferson isn't a dominant player, Raja is a shell of what he once was, AK was NOT reborn when he escaped Boozer's shadow. And that NY lottery pick has been a non-factor.

The ONLY hope is that DWill's injury takes a LONG time to heal and Utah misses the playoffs. The Jazz need a lottery pick - and they need to get it right - in order to compete NEXT season.

Sloan's lineups were **** in this game. Hayward deserved more minutes, so did Evans. But Bell and Price get plenty of run even though they are garbage.

"They're not gonna give you a layup, probably" Sloan says about the last play. Funny, Houston's coach found a way to get them a layup in their last possession.

Evans had twice as many points, a steal and two blocks compared to Bell. At the same time, he had 2 TOs to Bell's ) TOs.

Evans played 11 minutes to Bell's 30+.

Hayward and Evans shot 8-8 tonight from the field. You can't really do any better than that.

Classic Jazz right there. Stupid offensive play, stupid defensive play, stupid offensive play, game over. Jazz scored 14 in the 4th. Pitiful.

Ronnie Price sucks harder than I've seen anybody suck in a long time. Maybe as bad as Palacio. Holy hell.

I'm just sick. C'mon Jazz, give me a damn break.

On the bright side, Williams can smugly recall to himself how they certainly would have won with him out there tonight.

Since I only saw half the game, was Big Al taking it to the hole a little better tonight?

Both rookies played well. I hope Sloan begins to think they have earned some more playing time somewhere along the way. I know it never happens unless your name is Wesley Mathews, but I can dream right?

Gotta keep reminding myself we're still trying to put the pieces back together so losses don't hurt so bad. Being so close really sucked...

LoaP, I agree coaching was the weak point of the game play calls and the rooks should have at least taken Price's min we all know nobody takes Bell's

Hayward was passing the ball well, teamates missed a couple of easy shots early. He needs to rebound the ball. Sloan might keep him out there longer if he could get a rebound every 4 minutes or so.

Right, cuz Price and Bell were boarding it up out there.
