Rockets @ Jazz - 7PM MST Wednesday- FSN

Im not sure why all of you are so incredibly emotional regarding this game.

I thought it was a great game played by both teams...I like the Rockets...they're a group of scrappy dudes. Anyway, the game was enjoyable to watch and Sloan's penchant for putting the team in a haphazard position was expected and confirmed.

Anyway, without Deron and others on the court, we have a pretty sad team out there....

The hard thing to swallow is that it should have still been a W. I don't think it speaks to the overall potential of the team given that two main guys were out with injuries and Millsap has a battered hand. But the game should have been a W nonetheless.

I can agree. But it wasnt...well, not with Jerry Sloan at the helm. The Jazz are 2-8 in their last ten games. We're dropping quicker than Lindsay Lohans panties.

With Paris', Kim's, and Britney's soon to hit the floor. They may not win another game until the trade deadline, and maybe even longer.

Yup. I was checking the schedule and, um, tough teams coming up.

It was an entertaining game, but with 30 seconds left, I was pretty confident the Jazz had it in the refrigerator. I should have known better.

I'd echo the sentiments about Hayward not getting any run or designing a play for Al/Sap in the final seconds but what's the point. Gut punch game. I'm running out of hope but I still believe this team is better than it's playing.

Look at the bright side.......

Deron needs come back so we can stop being subjected to Ronnie Price (19 minutes 1-7 no assists 3 turnovers)

I don't know. I was entertained by him totally ****ing up a 3 on 1 fast break by trying to highlight reel his pass back to Evans, rather than just score on the layup.

Yes....

Since we were doing so well with Deron at the helm...

Do we really have such short memories? This team was losing WITH Deron starting.

Deron is no doubt a lot better than Price. But to think that Deron is going to somehow turn these losses into wins is completely absurd. I don't think there's one game that we would have won had Deron played. Even last night. Watson had a great game and did two things that Deron never does, rebound and take care of the ball.

Watson was incredible. He was 1 rebound and 2 assists short of a Triple Double. When Deron comes back I hope he follows Watson's lead and picks up the pace a little bit.

i think we will take our chances with DWill playing. Price needs to see a shrink I believe :)

So you want Watson to start over Williams?

You still don't want Earl shooting the 3 with the shot clock running out and you need a basket. That is not his strength.

I like Price. He has a purpose, but that's playing situational minutes. He has NBA short-man disease (no offense, Rikki), in that he tries to be spectacular all the time. Nate Robinson also has it. Rather than making the simple play, they go for the highlight play. More than 10 minutes of Ronnie Price and the team is in trouble. Put Price in the game when the team needs a shot of energy and good things usually happen, but Sloan needs to pull him after he makes his first good play because he's going to force a second attempt at the highlight reel.

Nate can shoot. Ronnie cannot. Ronnie has no serious NBA skills. Too short, no shooting, no PG skills = non-NBA or end of the bench playing only when absolutely necessary. What do the Jazz do? Keep him for 3 years and give him some good minutes.

Another solid post by the Jazzfanz resident belly man.
