Rockets @ Jazz - 7PM MST Wednesday- FSN

Sloan's lineups were **** in this game. Hayward deserved more minutes, so did Evans. But Bell and Price get plenty of run even though they are garbage.
Abso-****ing-lutely. How Hayward got no burn in the 2nd and 4th was mystifying. All he did was score 10 points in 14 minutes going 4-4 from the field. I guess Ronnie Price's 2 points going 1-7 from the field was just that much more impressive to give him 19 minutes.

Hayward was passing the ball well, teamates missed a couple of easy shots early. He needs to rebound the ball. Sloan might keep him out there longer if he could get a rebound every 4 minutes or so.

Yeah, thank God there was Ronnie and Bell at that spot just crashing the boards. They had a combined 3!!!

I gotta say, I wasn't able to watch this game, but it's reassuring that the box score wasn't deceiving and it really did tell the story; Sloan's mid-season check out is in full fury.

Wow

The refs were horrible. If it weren't for their calls Houston would have won by a lot more.

Could someone explain to me why CJ (who had gone cold in the 2nd half. And injured his knee) was the one designated to go 1 on 3 and shoot the last shot?

Why was hayward benched for the entire 4th quarter?

Why does Elson play over Evans?

Coaching lost us this game.

Price and Bell need to be banished to the end of the bench.
I now seriously wish that Bell had signed with the lakers. He has turned out to be completely worthless.
He can't guard anyone and he has zero confidence on offense. WHY DOES SLOAN KEEP PLAYING HIM?????

As for Price, he's one of those players that no matter how horrible they are, they still think they are good and keep throwing up brick after brick.

Bell was 2-5 tonight. Not good, but not too bad. He atleast doesnt chuck up too many shots, even if he shoots a mediocre percentage.

Whereas Miles=6-17 again. He frequently has shooting nights like this, which explains his mediocre shooting percentages. And worse, that doesnt stop him from throwing up atleast 10-15 shots every game.

And he thinks he is Kobe a lot of times. Iam not sure why the Jazz coaching staff drew up a play for him in the last minute instead of going to Al or Millsap. And his defense is sporadic at best.

Jazz need a major overhaul at SG. Unless KOC does something we will be first round fodder.

Kevin Martin scored 22 points on 13 shots. WHAT A CHUCKER M I RITE LOL1

Jerry Sloan's love affair with small ball is ruining this team. Why is Ronnie Price on the floor with Earl Watson....ever? Price is 6'1, has no PG skills, and can't spread the floor, there are very few reasons for him to ever be in an NBA game.

Price is 6'1, has no PG skills, .

He doesnt have SG skills either. Since they had a couple of small guys in Lowry and Brooks lighting us up from 3-pt land, Sloan might have thought going small with Price would be better defense-wise

i have wanted kevin martin for so long. and after watching him for the past 2 nights, my desires have been resurged.

He's terrible on D, let's get that out of the way. But his offensive game is the essence of perfection from a pure skills standpoint. To do what he does having sub-par physical attributes AND a weird shot speaks volumes to his natural talent for the game and work he's put into it. You cannot find a purer, more intelligent, and more SKILLFUL scorer in this league. The Jazz would do really well to magically acquire him and haters are up in the night.

Martin seems to be the kind of guy that teams would quickly sort out in the playoffs. His lack of toughness on D makes it a little less appealing too. The Jazz need an Iguodola or even a Jason Richardson type SG.

Rumor has it that Magic wont keep Jason around unless they win a title. Will we able to snag him at a lesser price this offseason with AK's contract coming off the books? Probably not, but still I would want to know. Jason should like the idea of Deron feeding him the ball.

So Watson takes an ill-advised 3 with 6 seconds left on the shot clock, then an And-1 on the other end. And the final play goes to a guy shooting 6-17 for the game. Gawd this team has a bunch of idiots and/or terrible coaches. I know Utah has a couple of starters missing, but this team has gone to ****. It's time to dismantle this mess and start over.

But we're still young! Just wait until we get healthy!! Once we start gelling, watch out!!!

Im not sure why all of you are so incredibly emotional regarding this game.

I thought it was a great game played by both teams...I like the Rockets...they're a group of scrappy dudes. Anyway, the game was enjoyable to watch and Sloan's penchant for putting the team in a haphazard position was expected and confirmed.

Anyway, without Deron and others on the court, we have a pretty sad team out there....

Has Sloan gone brain dead? Seriously, does he just go down his lineup card and determine pt for his wings by whether the card says SF or SG and/or whether there is an R behind it? Raja is doing next to nothing, yet always gets the majority of minutes. RP: he's a zero and should get no pt, but Sloan puts him in because Raja gets tired and RP is the only other guy with SG beside his name. Hayward has good games and then gets no minutes.

Is there a worse combo of SG in the league? Has there ever been?
