not counting first 3 games where he played under 20min, we are 7-8 since trey's real return.

All I can think about is how nice it is to have an above-average pg. We should all be super excited that we have ourselves a player, but instead we're worried about tanking? You people are sick!

I'd still say that he is average for starting pgs in the NBA. He just looks amazing because we spent a month watching Lucas.

Perhaps this is true, but he has only played in 18 total games and has shown that he can play. Therefore, I consider him above average given the circumstances.

So what even if he does prove to be above average. I would rather get a possible all star/franchise player in this draft than have an above average PG. There is no trophy for above average. Sit his *** on the bench.
 
lets be realistic here .. Trey replaced a washed up vet and a D-League player .. so ofcource this translates into a few more wins ... we still have the most losses of any team in the NBA at 22

There is no trophy for above-average? The MVP is an above-average player. The champions are always an above-average team.

No the MVP is the Most Valuable Player. As in the most valuable not more valuable than most. No one calls Lebron above average.

If you think TB will ever win MVP then you need to put the crack pipe down.

I'd be happy if he turns out to be Chris Paul - lite.
 
I'm not going to say that he's going to win the MVP but you're overreacting. You don't have much of a clue of what TB is going to become. Look, all I'm saying is that I would like to see our players that we have now continue to improve and show that they're able to play. If some of these young guys turn-out to be what they can then we'll be looking promising. The future is happening right now more than next year.

You missed the point read through the thread. Him being serviceable is the problem. I never said he sucked. I am not pissed because he isn't good enough I am pissed that he is good enough to **** us out of a top draft pick. Forget about Jabari, Wiggins, Exum, Embiid, Gordon is our new ceiling in the draft.

I think Trey Burke has shown he falters against above average teams, some of you gays... i mean guys act like we're closing in on the 8th seed.
