What's new

Snyder got out coached tonight.

I think Snyder's inexperience caught up with him. Clippers are without Blake Griffin and adjusted. Then you let them go on a 17-0 run in the fourth quarter. Inexcusable. Clippers just kept going to that pick and roll over and over and Snyder didn't adjust.

Fingers crossed Snyder can figure something out in 48 hours.

I disagree... I think the players completely gave this game away. Boneheaded turnovers, watching rebounds, taking forced shots, and missing free throws. One or two plays we win. Instead we made the plays for them.

It's disheartening because we had the game under control until we choked. We beat ourselves.

Not really... we missed shots. Quin dialed up some good stuff. Felt like clips got to every loose ball tonight.

What makes me more angry is that stagnant offense in the second half, settling with jumpers and shooting only 3s. Especially when you have players like Burks and Exum that can attack the rim and make the Jazz offense less predictable.

In addition I'm fed up with Quin always choosing Mack as backup pg when it matters!

Burks, the guy who is injured?

Quin **** the bed tonight, dude is pissing me off.

So Dante is our 4th stringer now?? Thats great, looking forward to CP3s continued domination!

This is Snyder's offense and he doubles down on it.He will not let the ball be pushed up the court. This is why you have guys getting a lot of minutes but don't have many points at the end of the game.

Exum and withey should've played. Other than that, i got no complaints. He was solid imo.

You guys are morons... Exum? Burks?

Quin dusted off Neto and got great production. Quin let Hayward play with two fouls and he went bananas. Quin dialed up a great play to get Hill that look.

Quin did fine... he's Picasso but he only has a couple colors of paints and the rest are crayons.

I disagree strongly with the OP, but am curious if Exum could have given Paul any trouble. He's frustrated him in the past.

The Exum thing is all about defense and height advantage. Like you mention, we miss Neto's point production, but jazz got destroyed defensively and Exum is one of the few Jazz guards who can stop defenders from getting into the paint easily.

Overlooked thing: Joe Johnson has been mediocre since Game 1.

I think he's getting gassed guarding Paul and Redick.

I wanted the win, but dammit the Jazz performed quite admirably considering.

You got to remember, Favors is still trying to find his rhythm while guarding the league's best front court in the playoffs. Rodney Hood likewise, is still trying to find a rhythm and get his legs back under him while in the midst of a tough playoff series with the league's 2nd best 5 man unit (Clips are second to the Warriors). At this point, without Gobert - the Clippers are just better than us. They are more talented, more experienced, and healthier.

Even if Gobert does come back, he'll be trying to find his rhythm also. The Jazz have just been so injured this year - Gobert, Favors, Hayward, Hood and Hill have STILL only started 13 games together. And we are still 11-2 in those games. Damn.
