Damn Aldemir just smacked the Freak again.
Is there history between them?

Kanteresque is wrong. He isn't that bad. He has positioning most of the time. After watching this game, I have to agree. Pleiss can roll to the basket and keeps the ball up. That's good. Defensively, he's Kanter-esque. Doesn't help, doesn't contest. Backs away when players shoot. And he's already 25, so probably little upside.
Yes, an exaggeration on my part. Kanter is historically bad. But Pleiss appears to have very slow reaction time. Maybe it's coaching. Perhaps he just needs to be told it's ok to contest shots. Pleiss did have 11 rebounds. That surprised me.Kanteresque is wrong. He isn't that bad. He has positioning most of the time.
Given the roster composition of the Jazz, their biggest position of need is PG and smallest at wing. Sure, Giannis would be great on Utah. But less of a drop in talent from Giannis to Hood or Burks than from Schroder to Burke, Neto and Cotton. Schroder was the bright spot for Germany. He can shoot from outside and had some nice drives.
Giannis was a huge risk just like Schroder. Both were incredibly raw. I actually wanted the Jazz to trade back. But who knows, maybe they would have taken Larkin with their first pick if they had traded back a few spots. Utah had zero viable PG's on their roster, so it was pretty apparent they had to draft one. They definitely would have still drafted Rudy at #21.Of course, but BPA always wins and it's funny that he was available as well. I mean it's not like Exum is untalented or sth or Gordon couldn't guard smaller guards.

At least we didn't get MCW. He's a career 25% 3PT shooter.
Whoever is interested in watching Eurobasket. I just got 1 month subscription from livebasketball.tv . They are going to have all the games from FIBA America and FIBA Eurobasket in the next month. The price for the subscription is 9 Euro from Europe, 10 USD from the US and 8 USD from Canada for 1 month subscription. (you have to cancel the subscription before the month expires otherwise they will automatically renew it).
They had relatively good coverage last year. I don't know if they've improved on it, but for that price I decided to test it.
