Rudy Gobert out of nowhere!
Does anyone else his size run the floor like he does? All we need is a guard who can push the pace.
Coincidentally, Burks last assist: https://on.nba.com/1APS6Pt (Last clip)
Gobert has almost no back to the basket game. I see no potential for him to become a jump shooter either. Watching him in warm ups he missed every single jump shot. 8 I believe he took.
However, I dont think this is a bad thing. What he should do is focus on what he does well, and become the best in the NBA at it. Become the best shot blocker, rebounder, and alleyhoop/dunk man. That is really all we need from him. Maybe develop a baby hook shot or work on the back to the basket game, but I'm not sold that will ever be him.
I just want a mean defensive big that throws down sick jams.

he's far from a finished product. Just 22-years old, right? Only been getting consistent minutes for how long?
The one thing we know about him is that he's developed at lightning speed........ I don't know how that doesn't give you faith and patience.
faith and patience are great but im just telling you what i see now. do we really want him focusing a lot of time to perfect something that obviously isnt natural to him?
its not his game. yes he is a fast learner, and a special player so maybe he does the impossible. his personality and talent certainly warrant the possibility.
my post was meant to show how content i am with what he brings. id rather him spend his time perfecting that than trying to do something that just isnt natural from everything ive seen.

Rudy's obviously not content with what he brings, That's why he's special
No matter the outcome, a job well done on your predictions thus far.Good one between Lithuania and Italy. Lith up by 1 at halftime. Need Italy to win to get my semifinal predictions right.
