Summer League: Jazz vs. Magic Wednesday 3 pm MST

LOL Kanter just bricked a wide open Dunk on the break. Burks face was priceless because Kanter blew his dime

hey guys , i wonder that Enes kanter can makes 3 points shoot so good but he never try , actullay if he could be like mehmet okur :)

Seeing as he only shot 67% from the FT line, I don't really expect him to be working on that 3pt game anytime soon. He has too many other areas of improvement to focus on to think about trying to become a 3pt shooter.

I am watching the live stream. I missed the first part of the 1st quarter. My impressions: Burks is playing well but he needs to work on his passing. I know Corbin mentioned he was a good passer but he hasn't really displayed his passing. His jump shot looks better and he is clearly one of the better players in the SL. I have been impressed with Kevin Murphy's overall game. He hustles and does more than shoot the ball. I certainly think he can get some playing time if he continues to work hard.

When Ahearn is in the game, the offense suffers. He is not an NBA PG. I am still impressed with Stockton's effort. I certainly think if he goes to Europe and works on his game that he could certainly make an NBA roster. I like the guy from Tunsia (Merija). He needs to gain weight and strength but he isn't a stiff. He runs well and has a nice touch on his shot. I wouldn't mind signing him and developing him. His length is a problem but like Evans I think he will get killed if he doesn't gain some weight and get stronger. Kanter has had his moments but he is still raw offensively. I put part of the blame on it being SL because the guards are the focus of the game (at least in the second quarter).

Brian T. Smith: Enes Kanter blows open-court dunk. Did it a few times last season. Just doesn't have elevation with ball in hands.

so sad...

For anyone who's somehow watching this via streaming or what have you, is it worth me to watch this tonight when they finally air it?

I see Burks is chucking some more and Kanter's numbers look decent. Should I watch it?

The game got a little sloppy in the second quarter but I would say YES watch the game. It is just nice to see the Jazz players play. I like what Burks, Murphy and Kanter are doing. The kid from Orlando who is impressing me is Nicholson out of St. Bonnie.

Definitely worth watching later. Kanter is really playing well, despite his missed dunk. Burks hasn't been chucking, just missed a couple (one of his FGAs was a deeeeeep three at the end of a quarter).

Young guys look great for the Jazz today.

Kanter looks like he's beasting it up. Who cares if he missed one dunk. Did you see how many dunks were missed when the Jazz played Detroit?

That is crap from Smith. Kanter went up off one foot with one hand and has he elbow above the rim. The ball just slipped out of he had when he started to bring it down for the dunk. There was no prob with elevation on that miss

Can't wait to see the replay. He dunks pretty easily in his workout videos. Maybe he needs Tim Grover standing on the sideline.

Yea the missed dunk was because the ball slipped out of his hand. I actually was surprised how high Kanter got up. Besides the fact that missing a dunk has probably happened to every NBA player at one time in their career.
