Thanks to Favors lol....
So his weakness is in a place where Favors cant even get us?
He was forced to play SF and we let him leave because Favors outplayed him... There is no chance Millsap would have been an all-star in the Western Conference any year.
If you want to have an argument about a healthy Millsap (aka, Millsap most of the time) vs. a healthy Favors, have at it. As it stands, healthy Favors is a myth, and thus, there is no argument.
I was being sarcastic. Favors is a good player but his teams just aren't good. Not all his fault, but the proof is in the pudding as they say. We would make the playoffs with Favors not playing a single minute this year. What the **** are you talking about.
I agree Millsap is better than Favors right now. I dont know about the health of Favors and he could never return to health. That said Millsap is a bad fit for this team and trading for him is a waste of resources. I am okay with trading Favors but I doubt we get much in return. We might as well hope he gets healthy. But if a good offer comes along, jump on it Jazz.

Look for obscure Millsap stats all you want, but the guy is a player and winner. Ever since stepping in for Booz and helping us to the postseason or what he's doing now with an average roster, the guy plays so well. We shouldn't have let him leave.

Dude, we are on the same side here. People say Millsap sucks in the playoffs when really its only against LBJ.Who the **** does NOT struggle against Lebron ****ing James? ****ing nitwit.
Favors didn't outplay Millsap while they were both here.

We are cool. On the same side.
If 10 gms look back on the last 5 years, they all pick Millsap. Not even close. Millsap is one of the best all around players in the entire league. The entire league. He doesn't have a weakness other than LeBron James.

Millsap has been clearly better than Favors for most of Favors' career. Cite whatever reason you want.
Not at all the point I made in what you quoted. My point is Millsap is a bad fit for the Jazz right now.
In other posts not what you quoted I have argued that moving on to Favors over Millsap was the right choice for the Jazz. Also most stats point to Favors being better the last 2 years. Millsap's teams have been better but that has to do with playing with 3 other all-stars and being in the East with a veteran heavy team.
Swap Favors/Millsap for Jazz or Atlanta and the teams are more or less in the same place the previous 2 years record wise. There is not a big difference. They do bring different things to the table. The only real difference is Favors is much younger but maybe now chronically injured and Millsap is going downhill now.
I honestly can't read a single word you write about Millsap. This has been true for years now.
He showed the potential to be better but he was also much better in the final season of Millsap towards the end. Especially on the defensive end where Millsap had quit playing and followed in Boozers steps the second half of the 11/12 season. Favors also outperformed Millsap in the playoffs that year which is one of the big reasons the Jazz moved on.
People forget how much Millsap sucked his final year here especially towards the end. He quit on this team.
Exactly my point.People forget that the narrative of millsap sucking at any time in his career is false.
I know, you have said that more than once. It also makes sense you havent read any of it.Just mostly post the stats. People tend to see the greener grass and have fond memories of Millsap like you.
Do you think Millsap is a good fit for the Jazz and we should trade for him right now? I do not.
