The official declare who you want the Jazz to draft thread

I don't care about draft order but I'd be happy if the Jazz got 1 or more of these guys:

Frank Jackson
Kyle Kuzma
Jeane
Bell (From Oregon)

Frank Jackson and Semi Ojeleye in the first round. Sterling Brown and a draft-and-stash in the second.

Fultz, I'm hoping he slips.

He needs to slip and fall and break both his legs, tear all his ACLs, PCLs and MCLs, break both hands, break some vertebrae and possibly develop some uncontrollable seizures to fall to 24.... but sure :p I'd love for him to slip too.

It's not a mock draft dude, it's his big board.
I don't think he said "using this mock draft"

He said "using this draft order"

So like he said, when using that particular draft order those are the dudes he would take.

He called it his mock

Mock and big board can be used interchangeably imo.

I could make a big board of my own that matches what I think each team will do therefore making it both my big board and mock draft.

No really a big deal and kind of petty to give him **** about.

He was just trying to post who he would take at each spot if the draft went down like that. That is what you should respond to rather than a single, unimportant to the general post, word in the post.

They can't. Different things entirely.

Its not petty, its the ****ing meaning of words.

A mock draft is a fake draft made by a person to simulate the draft. A person can go about doing a mock in a near infinite number of ways. They can do based on information gained from sources to try to predict draft order, they can do it from what they think the team would do , they can do it based on what they would do if they were that team, etc.

A big board is your individual rankings of each player in order from best to worst. It has nothing to do with individual teams or draft order. It's entirely separate from what you think will actually happen in the draft.

Could you make a mock that was 100% in agreement with your big board? Sure, but that would still be called a mock draft. You can act like these two words have no meaning and you can make them what you want them to mean, but are two terms that have been created to differentiate opinion from prediction to other's actions.

He was saying who he would take at what pick if the draft went down that way.
You are making a big fuss over what word or what type of list was used. Don't do that. Just look at who he would take at what spot and talk about that..... or don't say anything sometimes. That works too.

You are the one changing his words.

though this Jonathan Tjarks fella from the Ringer seems to have a fairly effed up mock. John Collins at 47, Kennard at 31, Juwan Evans at 15, Cameron Oliver at 18, Devin Robinson 19.

If you can read you can clearly see this dude thinks this is a group of mock drafts. I'm just merely correcting him for his own knowledge and to defend the meaning of Tjark's list. You choose to ignore his words and just make it say what you want it to say, which is ludicrous for you to do so and call me out for taking his words to mean their definition.

Don't act like I'm being a dick for trying to inform him of something. Worst case is he just misused his words and can say so later. You are being the ******* for calling me out for trying to be helpful. Go **** yourself.

I'm saying the word doesn't matter. People use wrong words and misspell stuff all the time. You have the douchey option of pointing it out which doesn't discuss what the person was actually talking about.
You took that route I see.

I would have argued who I would take at what spot instead or something.

Cool, if he misused them he can tell me and it will all be fine. I'm just trying to clear up a misunderstanding on his part, given the words he used. You are being a ****ing ******* right now.

It mattered to one person. You. The person who is notorious for arguing with everyone about everything no matter how petty. Consistent at least I guess.

How the **** is what I said to him an argument? I told him the list was people's big board, not a mock draft.

Once he responds with: "Yeah I meant to say that I just mistyped" or "Oh ****, didnt realize that thanks for pointing that out" then the exchange is done. It's not an argument.
