I'm starting a new thread because I keep hearing all sorts of ridiculous speculation about the Jazz giving up players for Crowder.

First of all, Ainge is trying to shed salary so he's not going to add players

Second of all, I wouldn't trade Hood straight up for Crowder, and the Jazz aren't trading Favors unless he has asked to be traded. Some of the ridiculous crap I hear drives me batty

Third, I would stand pat and insist they give us Crowder period and they get to sign Hayward, and if they won't do that, then they can go find another trade partner. Yes, Crowder is a good player but he's no All-Star and the Jazz would be very foolish to help out Boston after they just fleeced us.
 
A S&T involving Hackward and Crowder and maybe another Boston player helps both teams and makes a lot of sense. It gives the Jazz back something for essentially nothingward, and helps Boston get under the cap to be able to sign Hayworthless.
 
Your opinion is so incredibly more important than everyone else's that it needs its own forum, not just thread.

Well, there are more than 50 pages to wade through and I thought there might've been some news to suggest what people were saying but there wasn't, and I just wanted to set the record straight because I had said this several times but no one was listening or paying attention.

A parallel Internet is currently being constructed with all new data centers and fiber... just to contain this thread. Think about it: it just makes sense.

Did you see my comment. I had made this point at least three time in that thread and apparently no one read it or paid attention. That was why I made this thread.

This is untrue but a nice sentiment.

I hope we hand the keys over to Mitchell and fill in the gaps and let him light it up, if he is capable of doing so.

Yes, I know that, but people were saying we were giving them a player not they were giving another to us.
 
I will admit after reading that abortion of a thread (or at least the abortion it turned into after 50 pages of devolution) I almost made a new one myself.

I would guess the rape metaphor started since Boston is about to ream us sans lube. Which is true. But at least we can get a quarter (Crowder) for our trouble if we play our cards right.
 
I would not be surprised to see 2 player in the deal from Boston to us, since they really need to shed salary. Does anyone know how much salary they need to free up anyway?

Smart is an elite perimeter defender. He's likely not as good of a fit as Crowder or Bradley due to Mitchell's potential to develop in a similar caliber defender & our current lack of floor spacing as is, but Smart would still be a great consulation prize (depending on cost). I would be ecstatic if we could get any of those 3 at a discount. At this point, we need every asset available.
