What's new

The Walking Dead

Well "after" Negan hasn't happened yet. He's still around in the comics I believe. The group after the saviors is called "The Whisperers" and they have a very different philosophy on the world and how people should survive in it.

I just wish that Rick had a "hit" squad type of group. Rick, Daryl, Merle, Abraham, original Michonne, comics Andrea, comics Carl...

Not sure how I missed Shane.

I think "after" refers to after his introduction.

Well the show adds more politics. The Hilltop and Jesus will be back and the show will add Ezekiel and The Kingdom. Hopefully Shiva shows up.

I think that was one of the best episodes I've ever seen on any show ever. It pissed off the other 2 people I watched it with the rest of the night.
The scene with almost cutting off Carls arm was intense.

I think the episode was just a little bit too long. It would have been better if it had ended right when the Saviors left, and not done all that talking afterwards. Don't do the slow mo and the sad music, that cheapened the moment.

Agreed. I personally felt anguishished.

I really thought it was going to happen. In the comics Rick only has 1 hand and I thought this was a dark twist on that. Should have done it.

They spent 20 minutes to reveal who Negan killed, then they spend the next 25 minutes for the Negan power trip. So great. Can they not just reveal who did it without the stupid RV trip? I'm consistently amazed by how poor the writing can be.

The RV trip wasn't the issue. The problem was that the whole trip was flashbacks of Negan saying eeny meeny miny mo(as was the rest of the episode). They totally wasted a good cliff hanger.

Eh, it was close enough that I thought it would happen.

When Rick offered Negan to cut his hand instead of Carls I was like " oh **** they making everything match comics now..." and it did not happen. So I hope Daryl is going to be all right after all.

Anyone else glad they killed some people off. Wish they had killed more. I really wanted to quit watching this show after how ****ty it has been and how ****ty the last season finale was but curiosity got the best of me. That episode was awful. After what that group has been through most of them wouldn't fear death like that or death of others. Rick would have been stoic to the end and not cried and made silly threat's that hurt him and the group. Obviously they are just trying to set up for Rick killing Neegan. Nothing happened in that episode except finishing a boring cliff hanger. I wish he had made Rick cut of the arm, it would have made more sense and been more realistic. Wish they had killed the kid off though, he is boring. I'll give it a couple more to see if they go anywhere but I'd be shocked if I finish watching this season. They have ran this show into the ground.

They killed the worst actor, Abraham, so that was good.

Glen was boring, glad he died.

Really the only character I'd be upset about dying would be Darryl.

Yeah you are in the same boat as me. I think the episode only worked for the diehard fans who are emotionally invested.

If you don't give a **** about the characters then it was torture to sit through.

Darryl and Carl have both become nothing but people we're supposed to care about, but they don't do anything. Seriously, after losing the eye, I thought Carl was set for some actually good storylines, but they've completely ignored his character development since then. And Darryl... did he have any lines in this last episode? He has been behaving completely out of character for the past season or more. Not to mention Carol.

Yeah but Darryl is Darryl. He rides a motor cycle and exclusively uses a crossbow.

They need more cool **** like that. The series badly needs some sort of levity.

Luckily Ash vs Evil Dead and Westworld both come on Sunday and both are way better than TWD.

Well, if you read comics Carl is bound to do some bad *** **** in the future...Although it is not a given based how much they deviate from the comics.

To bad. In the comics he stows away in one of Negan's trucks and jumps out about a dozen of Negan's men, gets taken prisoner and is eventually released. Then he dates the next big baddies daughter and she licks his eye socket when they are together. Pulls a gun on Michonne. He's a little warped.

Will you stop giving out comic book spoilers? They may or may not come into play in te TV show, but still.
