Trade Gobert Discussion

Do I need to make an official: Trade Gobert and Conley for Whitesides and Lillard thread?
 
I don’t think this should be a trade Gobert thread. No one should want to trade him now. The idea is do you sign him for the super max? In my opinion you don’t sign a defensive player for the super max in an offensive minded league. And LoPos question is if that’s the case that he wants the Supermax and he will, would it be better to give him the max and deny us the cap room or trade him before that happens?

Its so dumb how everyone thinks they can just switch to small ball and its going to work. Steph and Klay making everyone think its easy. SMH
 
This is just sad.

90% of the people on this forum were in favor of trading for Conely, even though their were obvious reasons not to.

75% of the people here cheered the Favors trade.


Dont blame this stupid *** offseason on Rudy Gobert.

Maybe you should just stop having "ideas" about how to fix this if you were in those camps.

No, at least half the forum was against Conley. 75% was about right on the Favors trade.
 
Rudy is the only thing that makes the Jazz a unique team. Without him the jazz are way below average. Funny how suddenly the perception is that the majority of the board was against the Conley trade..??? Seems to me like I was getting called all kinds of things for being against it.

I was against the Conley trade all along.

I wanted to trade Favors long ago, but we ended up getting too little too late all things considered.

Nobody is blaming Gobert for anything. This Gobert trade thread is about his happiness, his willingness to re-sign here, and our willingness to pay him max money. If any of those are in question, we have to trade him rather than him Hayward us.

I wish some of you would read and comprehend.

Traded him for two second round picks. Though I think when people say “the Favors trade,” they just mean getting rid of Favors.

Those of us driving you nuts just categorically disagree with your premise. Blaspheme to mention Gobert and Hayward in the same sentence. If Rudy were to read this forum he would play you this song as well.

Thank you. I honestly thought we just didn't re-sign and didn't pick up his option.
Forgot about the trade.
