iow, he shot a lot.
6 and 4 is fine - nothing to write home about, but it's not terrible. and again regarding his situation with the knicks and those excuses - he was no different at duke. he had one of the most dominant players in college basketball history in the frontcourt with him and he still couldn't help but chuck inefficiently. it's just who he is. he's an inefficient chucker who rebounds a little bit.
and again, regarding the fact he's 22. if he were improving each season, that would hold more water. you should get better from 21 to 22. All that said, he is still young and might someday figure it out. but let somebody else take that risk - the asking price right now is too high. the risk/reward with Barrett just doesn't work. if he were a guy that his team were giving up on and you could get him for cheap, hell yeah, you make that deal. but the asking price is pretty much that of a 22 yo all-star.
