What's new

Trey Burke will play tonight in New Orleans.

The guy's only played like 10 games... give him a break.

Nah bro, that is the spirit of JazzFanz, we judge players after they do not pull through in like 3 games. Don't you remember how bad Hayward sucked and we didn't want him after that one poor shooting game?

Still a bit "meh" on Hayward to be honest (for the kind of money he's demanding). He was an alright value for the rookie scale, but he hasn't shown that he can hit the 3's consistently when it counts.

If we can get him at 11 or 12, i might be cool with that. He's been terrific at times this year. Think he'll get better too by the end of the year. He does a lot well and he cares about winning. rather spend that type of money on Hayward rather than someone like Boozer, Maggette, Beasly, AK47... I could go on.

Lol, a top 3 pick is mearly the best option not the only good one. If this team starts kicking some major butt and makes the playoffs that means we already have our guys. We extend/resign them and bring in the free agents to match and go after a title that way.

No matter what the Jazz are covered. Some options are jsut more heavily desired then others but they are all good.

As soon as Trey gets up to speed it means less Lucas! and baby that feels like winning in itself!

The opposite is just as true. Like when Neto had a couple of half-decent games, and people wanted him to come over and start ahead of Burke?

Looks like Stockton was right.. that time off has helped Burke... he looks composed out there. Played with nice pace.

Burke will be fine guys. Seems like his shooting touch is back. He did shoot about 40% from 3's in college (IIRC).

Lillard said it himself that he found it easier putting a shot up in the NBA due to better spacing. If he can get rid of his nerves, I think Burke could be a nice & consistent shooter for us.
