What's new

Trey Burke will play tonight in New Orleans.

B2B, Back to Burke!

If only Haywad didn't have a A2M performance.

Outside of being ice cold he played great. 11 assists, 6 boards, 2 blocks and a steal. 4-4 from the line. Horrible shot tonight but everything else was great.

Is take Deron back in a heartbeat...for the right price.

Is the right price what happens after his current contract expires? Because if the Nets GAVE HIM to the Jazz, they'd still be paying $20 million/year for whatever the **** he has turned into.

Still a bit "meh" on Hayward to be honest (for the kind of money he's demanding). He was an alright value for the rookie scale, but he hasn't shown that he can hit the 3's consistently when it counts.
The only consistency Hayward has shown is that he doesn't have much of it.

No matter what we got back from New Jersey, we are the ones who won that trade.

Burke will be fine guys. Seems like his shooting touch is back. He did shoot about 40% from 3's in college (IIRC).

Lillard said it himself that he found it easier putting a shot up in the NBA due to better spacing. If he can get rid of his nerves, I think Burke could be a nice & consistent shooter for us.

His shot never left. Lillard is correct. Summer league is terrible to judge players a lot of times because the spacing is terrible due to the abundance of scrubs.

It would be soooooo refreshing to have a consistent shooter on our roster again ... the last guy who was shooting it consistently it seems was Korver and that's a long time ago.

Enes Kanter has been far and away the best shooter on the Jazz this year. That's pretty unusual, positionally speaking.
