Utah Jazz @ Milwaukee Bucks, 6:30pm mst

Okay, I can live with the rationale that BS and TB (God did I really just say that?) relied on in each of the last two posts. To a degree.

IGS wins because he post a god damn essay for something that could be said in two sentences. I dont even bother reading 75% of the stuff he writes. I imagine he is a failed basketball player who now coaches a sub-par Middle School team.
Pwnasorry, pwnasaurus, but sometimes the detailed dissection requires a diatribe.

And no, I didn't make it to the pros, but my standing offer to take over for Sloan for 1/10 the price--with only a one-year guarantee necessary--is still out there.

I don't post here often, but crap man, this IGS character sucks. Sucks so badly. Sucks so much that I actually took the time to post this.

Anyways, anyone suggesting that Elson's minutes get cut for Fes' after last nights game must have been dropped on their head as a child.
Thanks for the shout-out, Mic, given that there no such thing as bad publicity . . . .

Elson was pretty good against the Bucks in the third and fourth quarters; keeping the ball alive for Jefferson in Q4 was pretty sweet. Not so much in the 2nd quarter; he ended with 2-5 in the game. Then again, players don't need playing time to get into rhythm, right?

Final score: Jazz victory, 1; proof that Memo should be ahead of Fes or Frank, 0 (or should it be 0.2, his shooting percentage on the night?). Nice trey to start the Turk's stint, but 0 for 4 afterwards. MO did have a block, but unfortunately he turned it over on a bad pass in the subsequent play.

The stronger but equally futile argument is that Fes be given (or retained) some of Memo's minutes. Looks like Sloan has made the executive decision to give Okur a sliver of PM's time (although Milly was out mainly due to foul trouble, which is when Elson had his good stint in 4Q) or maybe AJ's time and most of Fesenko's. Barring injury or overt suckiness, I don't expect this order to change.

Of course it's early; it took Boozer several games to get back from his lengthy injury, too. But any claim that developing the young players is risky kind of goes out the window if you have your post-injury vet hurting you in his significant recovery time on the court (only validating also that on-court time is essential for development and rehab alike). Hopefully Memo gets more effective fast (possible) or that Sloan makes his minutes more selective (nearly impossible) so that MO doesn't contribute to any more losses as he gets back into the swing of things. Fortunately the other Jazzmen who actually played--including Elson--compensated for Okur iffiness on Saturday night.

P.S. For the record, I was not dropped on my head as a child--because nobody dared picking me up anyway ;).
