Bottom line. If you're not votin' how I'm votin' UR dumb.
ah, so there ARE rules...
ok, i take back what i said then.

My prediction to who gets voted off in order:
Marvin
Mo
Kanter
Burks
Millsap
Hayward
Favors
Mo.
At least Marvin presents a nice sized SF who may stand a chance guarding the elite SF's.
But who is more valuable to this team? You take away Marvin and we at least have capable guys to fill in. You take away Mo and leave the PG duties to Watson/Tinsley we're in trouble.
The reason why everyone is confused with the rules is because there are too many. It makes no sense to have multiple reasons why you should vote for someone.
Once you add up all the things people will favor other reasons over another.
You should of just left it as Who is the least valuable player.
Once you start adding in Potential and Contracts and the rest of the garbage it mucks the voting up. Keep it simple next time. You can continue to get mad about people voting wrong but when you have tons of rules this is what happens.
People are seriously not understanding the game. It's not just about who contributes most NOW, and it's not about how the team would function with the remaining players. It's about who is in the Jazz' best interest to keep around when taking everything into consideration such as a player's potential, contract, and likely trade value.
If you're going to vote Marvin off before Mo with the logic "guys can fill in for Marvin, but we don't have anyone who could fill in for Mo", well...you could use the same logic for voting Favors off before Mo.
Whaaaaaaa?
It's about as simple as it gets, whose the most valuable player for the team, asset wise.
Those things you listed are attributes of what makes a player an asset.
Would it be simpler if we made it a who has the most trade value contest? That's basically what it is. (before people complain about Al, STFU he has No trade value.)
PS twin towers, I'm mad at you now.
Hey, I'm not slimy! And you're a roach, so you crawl around in filth and ^%$& all the time.Mo.. you are the weakest link. You just feel.. slimy.
Kanter has immense potential, is probably top 3 in trade value, and is on a freaking rookie contract. How are people voting for him?
Do you realize how pricey rookie contracts are for the top rookies?

This year: $4.3 mill
Next year: $4.5
then: $5.7
then: $7.4
That's a lot of money for someone who may or may not be good enough to be a starter.
I dunno guyz. I got a good feel in about Mo going into this season. I'm certainly excited to see both Willz here, but something about Mo specifically makes me feel vibes that he might be here for the long run.
