I would be very surprised if this is true of RJ.

I wouldn't. It's clear from his interviews that Lindsay REALLY likes RJ--on a personal level, if not strictly for his basketball ability. Granted his new contract will be much lower than his current one, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if the Jazz have plans to re-sign him.

- Gordons injury was good for the tank but I would much rather see him on the court and one of the vets(or maybe both) taking a seat
- The defense was just terrible
- Love the USG% from Trey, Alec, Derrick, Enes and Marv; hate the % from RJ
- Good ASG% from Try but should have more AST doe
- What's up with D-Favs REB%? He is strugging the last five games(REB%: 12.1). And again no AST for Derrick.
- b2b not so great games for Alec. His raw numbers are looking good but he had a really bad impact. Nice thing is his 3FG% is improving(nov.:31%,dec.:39%,so far jan.:40%). If he just can get a reliable jumper he will be deadly!
- Enes is getting it together step by step but he is not over the hump yet. This TO Ratio looks really nice and his REB% the last 6 games was good.
- Marv I don't know where he was but definitly not on the court.
- Hate the fakt that the Starting PF, C and best big of the bench don't have any AST! Hate it!

* OffRtg, DefRtg and NetRtg: The number of points scored/allowed per 100 possessions by a team. For a player, it is the number of points per 100 possessions that the team scores/allows while that individual player is on the court. (From nba.com)
** ORtg and DRtg: For players it is points produced/allowed per 100 posessions (from basketball-reference.com)

I'm confused why you have the guy with the incredibly high eFG% highlighted in green but his high usage in red. Also, why isn't his high AST% highlighted in green?

just curious - how many does showed up in this thread?

And was this thread dedicated to the original doe boy?

that doe CJ, doe

But jefferson does not want to be here.....he is an unrestricted free agent who has said that he wants to go someplace and get a championship

Cause **** him, thats why

If we got rid of Marvin, and RJ I'd be ok more with any result. Winning with these two guys is upsetting for the future.

Again we truly haven't turned this team over to the young guns. Trey gets the start, but there is zero competition. Burks gets more
playing time, but not enough. Marvin is finally easier on the stomach, but is he apart of our future? Why on earth is RJ even here?

I thought the plan was clear to start out the season. Play and develop the young guys, lose games most likely, and get the high pick to go with what would have been our seasoned core next year. Now its like lets play vets who probably won't be here next year, and win just enough games to not get a good lotto pick, and not make the playoffs? What the hell Jazz?!!? Dennis what exactly is your plan?

I'm a huge Kanter fanboy and I want him to start, but I also like what I see from Marvin. The Jazz need a TEAM to contend and I wouldn't mind Marvin re-signing with the Jazz if he costs us no more than $7 million. Seriously, what I want is the injury bug to hit the team again -- nothing serious, maybe some pulled hammies, back spasms, or a jammed finger or two.

Stomach flu...

We need some ball boy to hand out towels with a virus on it!!!

About the eFG%, I like the fact that he played efficient and hitting shots, because early in the season when there was no Trey and no Marv the team had to play almost perfet to look good but RJ(e.g. @BRK, @CHI, @TOR, vsDEN), Tinsley(just about every game) and JL3(e.g. @PHO, @BRK, vsDEN) had some bad nights during that period of time and were just not helping the core guys. They certainly didn't play perfect as well and of course I'm not denying that fact but it was impossible for the team to look good when the Veterans had Off nights. So I like to see a high eFG%!
About the USG%, actually one of RJ and Marv had to have a high USG% with Gordon out but RJ had the 3rd highest before Derrick and Enes and that is a problem for me. With Gordon out I would love to see some play action out of the post where Enes and Derrick not jus looking to score but rather making plays for their teammates, so we have an other dimension in our Playbook. But that's just me if you have a different opinion I'm cool with that.
His AST% is nice but I also didn't highlighted Garetts AST% and I also didn't highlighted any stats from Evans. It seems like you don't have a problem with those.

Don't tell Corbin or Locke.

There's little "play action" out of post(especially without a dominant scorer), and what is available is...

............drum role.............

Shots for wings like Jefferson and Burks.

RJ wants a ring, so unless the Jazz overpay to keep him, he's gone. Or RJ's full of ****.

Perhaps more importantly, the Jazz have as much ability to sign a guy like Marvin Williams or Richard Jefferson whether that guy ends the year here or not. Bird rights are irrelevant since no team in their right mind is going to pay beyond the MLE for one of them, not to mention that the Jazz are going to be under the cap in the offseason.

Yeah, maybe some other stuff too but you're right! And you're right he is kind of overperforming this season but he is auditioning for a contending team right now. So he'll be gone...
