Also, Brian Smith reporting that CJ sprained his wrist in the scrimmage.

Who played well in the scrimmage? I was planning on going, but had some unexpected things come up last night.

Evans was the highlight of the game.

Thompson is not the next westly, he was the worst player on the court.

Lockedonsports: In my opinion which is worth nothing -- Andrei Kirilenko has been the best player on the floor so far

Posting while driving.

Yadda, ak, and evens played great.

Evans had a put back dunk over sap who was on his team.

Haywerd was horrible. 4 or 5 tunocerz lots of fouls. One made shot.

Fess looks like he's in great shape. Jefferson looked way out of shape and tired.

White team. Fess, sap, Earl, Yadda, Thompson. Nickizsjfdvdg, Haywerd, and Evans.

Blue team. Everybody else.

Blue team won by 4 or 5

How can Big AL be that out of shape?

He went to LA to train, and got here early to get ready for the season?

Not good news at all.....

Being in shape for the T-Wolves and being in shape for the Jazz are to completly different things

I don't know if I'd say he looked winded at all.

Players I remembered that stuck out for whatever reason:

Evans: athletic as a ma'fu*%er, but MUCH more importantly the kid actually had surprising court awareness. Good help defense, made a nice touch pass which indicated to me he knows who and where guys are supposed to be on the court. I thought he'd look lost but athletic, pleasantly surprised. Huge upside.

Elson: He should and most likely will be backing up Big Al to start the season. Made 2 medium range jumpers and plays like a vet in that he looks like he knows what he's doing at least. Nothing spectacular but when your other option is a guy that couldnt finish dunks in warmups......

Fes: couldnt even finish on dunks in warmups....(seriously).

Thompson: I don't see him making this team. Did nothing at all to impress and is too slow to guard any real 2 guard in the league.

AK: Very active and looked sooooooo much better playing the 4.

DWill: couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Big Al: ehh, so so.

Mansap: a little better than "ehh".

Fes: Greg Ostertag thinks he has terrible hands.

Elder Hayward: while he didn't do anything of note except for an athletic block that went on to being a foul on someone else, his body looked much more NBA-esque and looks like he feels comfortable on the floor with NBA players. I came away thinking "be patient, it wont take long".

Jeffers: looked pretty active and if I had to make a call right now it would be him over Thompson.

Everyone else was "blahh" in that no one else really stuck out that much positive or negative in the "other" group.
