Nope. I gotta disagree with you here. LeBron made this terrrible stinking league full of terrible teams when he decided that since he couldn't beat the Eastern Confernce he was going to join forces with two other 'super stars'. That move killed Toronto and Cleveland making the competition worse. And the resulting super team movement has made the entire league worse.
Jordan played under Sterns ideal model of every team with two star players and the league benifited from that. There was a legitmate chance for several teams in any given season to win it all, or atleast make a serious push. Yea, I know that Boston did 3 stars before "the Decision' so maybe the old model was wounded. But it was Lebron's 'Decision' that killed the old two star model and started teams dumping thier 'superstars' before they walked. Deron, Melo, Chris Paul were all hastily moved before they left their teams for nothing. Now too many teams believe they are so far away from being competitive that they are willing to lose games on purpose to try to sell their fans hope. Sad.
Jordan, Magic, Bird all catapulted the league into expansion, growth, and an explosion of popularity. In Lebrons era there is lock-outs and talk of contraction, tanking, and empty arenas. Doesn't matter what he does on the court he will NEVER surpass Jordan, and it will have been his own fault.
