Why didn't you answer my question? I answered yours.
Because we have an opportunity to make it up just a little to a very oppressed minority. It's the decent, human thing to do. Until very recently, you could get fired for being transgender, you were exponentially more likely to be sexually assaulted, you could have kids taken away if you had any, etc. All this isn't going to go away overnight, but we're making strides as a society. And this bathroom issue is just a little thing we can do to help. I mean, how can you say you accept someone's right to decide what gender they want to be but then say you don't allow them to choose the bathroom that goes with that gender?
