I've watched Lowry a ton, cuz 90% of the games on TV here are Raptors games.
Trust me, Conley is the best of this lot. Go for him in a sign-and-trade if we have any doubts with our PGs by next offseason.
Trust me he says. Lolololololololololll
No.
Doing a sign and trade for a 29 year old Conley at the beginning of next season is one of the worst ideas I've seen on here.
He's an unrestricted free agent. So we don't need to give up anything for him if we want him. And we dont. He's good, but he isn't 5 year max money good. Plus we'd have to give up assets in a sign and trade. Also, it severely hampers who we can re-sign. I don't want Conley being one of our big 3. Which is all we will afford in the future. The Miller's aren't paying the tax. Certainly not for him.
So according to Dala in this thread and that Dr Jones one.
We should trade two first rounders to sign and trade Conley to a 5 year max deal when he is 29. While having to give up one of our current big 3 because we won't be able to afford all of them, when they re-sign. So basically we trade. Hayward, 2 firsts, and cap space to be stuck with a 30+ year old overrated non all star Conley.
Dalamon you are brilliant. No. I will not trust your crappy opinion.
