What will Dante Exum Be When All is Said and Done?

I think by the end of this upcoming season ...... Dante Exum will be the face of the Jazz optimism in the upcoming years. A Exum /Gobert defense will be the most fesred defense, but also I think Exum will get the Jazz running and break out of the slow boring offense we saw all the last season. The point differential will grow into the top 3 in the league ,closing in on Golden State/San Antonio territory .Wins will grow and where will the cause of more wins come from ...The return of Exum

So you think Dante's game is just going to be what he did his rookie year but with better %'s? Look at his highlights from his game's pre-draft. Look at his one SL game from this past year.

Are you drunk?

Ha-ha the overrating is so strong here, are we seriously saying Dante will be top 20 PG of all-time here by comparing him to Penny or JKidd ... Setting up for major disappointment

Comparisons dont mean that is who they currently are or who they are going to be just projections if things pan out for that play ideally. Every young player gets compared to someone who is far more accomplished then they are. Sorry, can we switch this back to Kanter troll stuff, your strong suit.

let's bump this thread next year when he is relegated to the bench

I just want him to stay healthy and feel comfortable driving to the hoop...I feel like if he did this his points would go up quite a bit. I could see him easily putting up 12-14 a game fairly soon if he attacked more. His speed/agility is fantastic.

BTW, impossible to answer this question without seeing how he recovers from his injury. This injury has the potential to diminish his greatest attributes, so it's hard to say. His quickness and defensive ability define him, so it depends on how much of that ability he loses. If he can retain 95% of that ability, fans will be surprised how much he affects our bottom line, and the idiots who celebrated his injury because they thought we'd be better without him, will finally have to eat the turd of shame that they deserve.

I was the first to ever mention Exum on this board.. prior to him ever being on any mock draft board.

So.. LISTEN TO ME, Damnit.

He's gon be good.. Real Good.

Bruh I knew brought his dad up back in the day when he played on North Carolina. I said "this guy has some strong genes. He is going to make a good NBA player for a son". I knew about Exum when he was still a sperm cell.
