What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

I also watched Batman v Superman a few days ago. Not like anything I typically watch, and it was by far the worst movie I've seen in a long time (as I expected it to be), but I feel there's something to be said for sitting down in front of a screen and not having to think about anything for 2 1/2 hours, except for maybe, 'Goddamn, this movie is ****ty'

Just a truly awful movie imo

Agreed. I tried watching it on an airplane on the way back from Germany last Saturday. I got about an hour into the movie and decided that it was so stupid it wasn't even worth my time on an airplane. Way too many things bugged me about it, such as the characters' motivations, the plot in general, the acting, and the straw that broke the camel's back was the stupid glowing eyes in Batman's mask (yeah, because he really likes being blinded while in costume, and easy to be seen).

On the other hand, I watched Captain America: Civil War on the way to Germany the previous week, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

You watch PG-13 movies?

Green Room

It was tense! Taut if you OneLove. Great acting all around. %91RT

Saulnier also directed Blue Ruin which was also a great film.

Green Room was OK. One of those movies that was well done, but nothing exceptional.

I finally watched "42" and "Lincoln" and "Concussion" this weekend. Really liked them all.

I'm a sucker for sports movies, and "42" incorporates so much more than just sports. Jackie Robinson was one brave guy. And "Concussion" was really interesting.

"Lincoln" reminds me that our system of government has always been crazy, and gives me hope that the right things eventually get done.

I recommend them all to those, like me, who are a couple of years behind in their movie watching.

Has anyone seen Noctural Animals (Tom Ford's 2nd film), starring Jake Gallanhal and Amy Adams?

Reviewers have raved about it and it sounds like something that's right up my alley. (I absolutely love Tom Ford's 1st film BTW).

I really liked it although I needed a second viewing to fully absorb it. One of those movies that sticks with you. I want to watch it again. Listening to the soundtrack right now.

I thought she did great considering she was only 16 years old when they filmed it. Jena Malone is fantastic in it as well.

Oh man, just realized it's the same director as 'DRIVE', easily my top 10 favourite movie and soundtrack of ALL TIME.

This could be EPIC. Will let you know what I think.

Yeah Nicholas Winding Refn, or NWR as he goes by nowadays. I believe Neon Demon deserves a spot in his top 5 I liked it that much.

1- Drive
2- Pusher 2
3- Bronson
4- Pusher 3
5- The Neon Demon
