Was not impressed.
You watched a movie about women? Why? I mean....I could've told you that was going to be terrible.
It was very good... I encourage you to watch the xmen movies in chronological order (First Class, Wolverine, XMen, XII, XIII) it's an enjoyable experience, explains a lot.
Was not impressed.
can't say I was impressed exactly, but it was certainly better than I expecting
my expectations weren't terribly high however! but it was funny, and had an ending that wrapped things up nicely, so for what it was, it was good enough.

Caught X-Men: First Class tonight. Overall I liked it. I thought the fight scene with the butterfly girl and the screaming dude was kind of silly and lame, but for the most part it was good. I didn't like that they abbreviated Xavier and Eric's relationship so much. After all, the story is that Eric helped Xavier build the thought amplifier, and together they found Jean Gray, but this kind of squashed that stuff from happening.

Loved it. It lived up to my expectations.
I liked it but Damon semi-ruined it for me. He stood out like a sore thumb and was an awful casting choice imo. Bridges, Brolin and Pepper were stellar though.

Solid flick. I loved the 70's/80's feel, the innocence of it all, and the young cast was refreshing but overall, it was quite formulaic (don't want to give any thing away so I'll leave it at that) and lacked a couple knockout punch scenes that the similarly feeling classics have.

I give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars if that means anything. Worth seeing, imo.

I'd give X-Men at least 4 out of 5 stars, maybe a tad more. I loved it, it's one of the few movies I would happily see again. It helps that I'm a big, big fan of the characters, and you'll get a lot more out of it if you're a big fan going in to it.
I didn't mind Damon. He's better than Glen Campbell.

I'm thinking about seeing this one but the trailers scare me into thinking it'll be something that it really isn't.

It was sort of funny, I guess. I laughed real hard when the fat kid stopped to drink some Coca Cola. Don't know why. :/
The movie just wasn't my cup of tea.

I honestly cannot think of any "one-liners". There are few hillarious quips and such. They do a decent job of describing why Magneto is the way he is, and it is ironic that his "mentor" is the man he wants to kill (I am not spoiling the plot, you get this info in the first 10 minutes of the movie). It had it's moments of forced dialogue, mostly so they could get in the creation of the "X-Men" and their "code-names", but it was acceptable as they still did a decent job of building relationships and building some emotion. They gave us characters we could care about, and decent acting, but nothing earth-shattering. That is why I gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars. It was fun to watch, I am sure I will buy it to add to my X-Men movie collection, but it wasn't the best movie in the franchise. I liked it better than the 3rd movie though. That one had so many plot-holes I am surprised it didn't fall apart during editing.
I started The Wire. Thanks to everyone who recommended it, but, it's a tad too naughty for me. Way too much swearing invited an evil spirit. Do they say anything besides swear words? I noticed the crack boys use better language than the heroes. That's too disappointing for words. Heroes should be valiant men, preferably youngish, and NOT potty mouths with sex addictions. Perverts.
Pepper's characters was one ugly dude. When he was standing there yelling and spit was flying out of his mouth I wanted to slap him and tell him to brush his teeth.
