True, but still
Point taken.
True, but still
I will attempt to watch Mud in the next few days, and I'll let you know if I change my mind.
All I said was a homosexual would naturally have a taste for McConaghughghghghghauuay, where as a straight man likely not.
I think Mud was over-rated, then again I don't put a ton of stock in aggregate websites, or reviewers in general. Too many of them pander to the hollywood elite to continue to get invited to the right parties, and still others are too concerned about impressing the intelligentsia that they can see the underlying brilliance in 120 minutes of pretentious crap. I have found a few reviewers that tend to have views of movies similar to my tastes and will on occasion check their reviews before going to see a movie, otherwise I simply go see what interests me, and sometimes I am pleasantly surprised and other times I end up watching a crappy movie, or even walking out.

Ya, i feel rotten tomatoes is usually prettt good to judge movies off.
Mud was not a blockbuster type movie btw..... at least i dont think it was, as i never saw a preview for it
Finally watched Spring Breakers last night. One of the weirdest movies I have ever seen. It wasn't bad, it wasn't good, I was entertained, but I didn't really enjoy it. Just a very odd movie from beginning to end.
Yuppers.
I watched The Grey over the weekend. Garbage for the most part.
The Grey was one of the only movies I've turned off halfway through. It was terrible.
Slumdog Millionaire. Forgot how good that movie is. Might have to let it join the small amount of movies I've thought worth buying.
