Elton Brand was a star tho

Yeah he was. He was just on the Clippers.Yeah he made the all-star game once as a reserve, but I wasn't necessarily trying to group them based on who made the all-star game. I was trying to group them into tiers, and he's not really in the same conversation as the other guys.

So, Love is the answer to our contender drought? When Love was in Minnesota didn't he want out because he was with a team that had no vision for playoff advancement? Would he not be in the same situation here? Thank God that someone not wanting to trade Favors for Love is not a GM of ours, right? Because our GM holds such a high pedigree of winning standards? If the Cav's had Favors instead of Love would they still be seeing the same success that they are seeing now? No, they wouldn't.Love would fit in perfectly with us. He would spread the floor, rebound, be great in the pick and roll with Hayward/Exum/Hood.
Anyone who wouldn't trade Favors for Love...well, thank god they aren't our GM.
So sick of star this star that, and "why the hell haven't we gotten a star". This isn't really something the Jazz can control. They aren't going to sign one, and drafting one is rare. We need to be looking from with in. Exum, Hood, Gobert, and Lyles. And decide who to keep between them and Hayward, and Favors, using the odd man/men to get future assets. We are in good shape to do it his with the cheap contracts the Jazz have now, and their recent rep for good drafting and having over 30 million to spend. Next man up kind of thing. My expectations going in was this would be a long *** rebuild.
Obtaining a star is something that the Jazz can't control? Are you serious? Like when you refer to "the Jazz" you are talking about a monster that has a picky diet. We most certainly can get a star if we try. Something that we haven't tried to do or will try to do in the past or the near future. Jazz could go after any star they want or put in the effort to develop one of their players into a star. The problem is we don't have any candidates for a future star and that's pretty sad considering this is a watered down NBA. We should be able to develop guys like Gobert, Hayward, Favors, etc. Even though they are good players they are not star quality. The Jazz will be behind all the way until KOC kills over and then we have to take advantage of the opportunity at hand and replace him with someone that can think straight. KOC is a puppet master with his wavering hand so far up Dennis Lindsey's ***, you can't tell where KOC ends and DL begins. Saying that they Jazz don't control their own destiny is crazy. They can control it even though they have not displayed good examples in the past, that is the front office's part. Can't control it? A championship trophy doesn't fall out of a unicorns ***.
Thiswhat a bunch of drivel.

Lol. Who said Love would make us a contender?
Love gets us to the playoffs.
I'd trade Favors, Burks, Burke and our pick for Love.
