Oops.Yeah she had help but it still takes a lot of work to lose weight. Being rich doesn't make that go away. Plus if Oprah is president she will probably give out free cars! Who knows she could show up to your neighborhood and start passing them out.

I think it's interesting that the current administration has pretty much given up on the tppa after Trump was elected, when supposedly both candidates were opposed to it. Are we to believe that the election had no bearing on this decision? Or that if Hillary was elected, they assumed it would still go through?
Lying? A politician lying? OMG! I think I'm gonna have a heart attack.
Does anyone know for sure, is Hillary the first politician who ever lied?
Now this isn't me saying that lying is at all OK. It isn't. But it is essentially standard practice amongst politicians. Politicians are lying little weasels as a rule. Hillary is a weasley politician. What I've always said is that Hillary is a STANDARD politician. Not a great one. Not one who has conducted herself in an exemplary manner. Just your average, everyday politician.
So what I take exception to is that people are trying to paint her as being especially corrupt. Like she has set some sort of record for being dirty and corrupt. She isn't that special.

It wasn't the having help part that turned off my wife and her friends. It was the hypocritical claim if being "just like all of you" while she spends more than my annual income over 5 years for a cadre of professionals to provide that help. Just like everyone else. Yeah.

I was just talking to a friend about this yesterday. It's so absurd that somebody sticking to their guns and never changing their mind is seen as a positive thing in politicians. And again I think the fact that people don't look at trump as a politician really helps him with all the times he's changed his mind on things.
It seems it's a bad time to be a politician in politics.

Yeah. Hillary was lying. She supported it. She was Sec. of State during 4 years of its negotiation. She would have pushed to change just enough meaningless language to say that she got a better deal. I'm still holding out hope that Trump will do the same but it isn't looking good. My guess is that they remove the labor protections in foreign countries as well as protections for endangered species trade in exchange for an extra 2-4 years of medical copyright protections and perhaps some stiffer language on currency manipulation. Trump is gunna **** the worker and they are gunna eat it up.
Flip flopping isn't corrupt. It's flip-flopping. I'm not trying to say it's a good thing. It just isn't an example of being crooked or corrupt.

Independent truth checking websites all agreed Trump lied more than any other candidate in our lifetime during his campaign. Romney want too far off from Trump as a serial liar. Despite claims otherwise Obama and Clinton are the bottom two on the liars list. Yes all of them have lied as have everyone of you. Yes some lies could be argued as worse but that is hard to quantify. Saying Clinton didn't win because she was dishonest as opposed to Trump is saying you bought into propoganda. Yes Clinton lied as an elected official as has every elected official but Trump has lied in court, to his employees, repeatedly during every speech during his campaign and every situation he has interacted with the public.
There is really no point in comparing them anymore it's over and Trump is going to be president. I'm hopeful Trump will stop being in campaign and attack mode and try and appoint a good staff. I am hoping he sticks to old school Republican ideas of small more transparent government, letting people live their lives as they want, letting people choose what to do with their money and so on. I'm hoping he avoids some new Republican platform ideas like the one added this year that wants gay marriage repealed and gives parents the rights to put their kids in conversion therapy if they suspect they are gay.

She is a liar. After the release of her speeches to Goldman Sachs I almost voted for her(she wasn't going to win Utah anyway). I like most of her private positions(on the economy). The problem is most of the left doesn't.
If I didn't think she was an imperialist warmonger and a supporter of the police state perhaps I could have become an enthusiastic supporter.

There are about 5-10 major organizations that do truth checking. Some of them seem good, some lean left, some lean right. They all agreed on this.
Frankly I believe that Democrats tell the truth more often because their constituents hold them more accountable for that than do Republicans. I am not saying all of either side do this but as a whole democrats have more people who take the time to see if what their candidate is saying is true or not where more Republicans have an emotional response and care more if it fits into what they believe.
Also yes she is a liar but so am I and so are you. Humans lie at a very high rate. Does she lie more than other candidates are politicians? I do not see evidence of that but that is hard to prove and an opinion for the most part. The only things we can prove is that she was more honest than others. Republicans and Trump did a good job of pushing a liar label at her early and often and beating points of that where they could prove that she lied enough that people felt she was a liar, which is an arbitrary label. It was said enough times that everything she said people could pass off as a lie without giving it a second thought if they did not like her.
