What's new

You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

If the Nets end up moving Dinwiddie and we’re not all over it I’ll be ****ing livid.

If we traded for Dinwiddie and picked up K Love I’d be pretty happy with that

Spurs might shop DeRozan to clear some salary. What do y'all think? Donovan at the 1, DeRozan at the 2?

I don't really see him being a fit at all. He pretty much lives in the mid-range and Quin has tried to eliminate mid-range shots from our offense. He only took 45 3's last season and shot just 15%.

Not acquiring him doesn’t mean Xanax didn’t seriously try to acquire him. I’m not saying you don’t know that but I’m just throwing it out there since most board members, myself included at times, seem to flip the **** out when we don’t get the available player we so desire. As if we have any sort of decent assets to acquire anyone of value.

I would be down depending on what we give up.
In his prime still. Averaged 21.2 points per game in 34 minutes. Shot 48% from the field. 6 rebounds per game. 6.2 assists per game (damn). Gets to the line well and makes 83%. Could definitely take some of he scoring load/pressure off DM. Never gets hurt. Veteran with lots of playoff experience.
Jazz need guys who can put the ball in the hoop alot. Derozan can. Contract is a lot but nothing crazy. (Much less than love or conley)

I’d rather strengthen our depth than trade for DeRozen if we strike out on other high end free agents. Nothing against him, and he’s a good player, but I’m tired of the Rubio’s and Exum’s of the world next to DM who can’t hit threes.

Fair enough. Good post

Good post.

All comes down to cost. The guy can play. Better him than running it back.
