What's new

Kanter said what?!?!?!

Exactly.

And he is merely repeating what this board has been saying about the franchise for 3+ years.

You could take Kanter's name off these quotes and I would've just assumed that someone on Jazzfanz had written it.

It's like family. We all know uncle Leo is a slug who is fat and needs to get off his *** and get a job. His come over is pathetic. Shave it off man! We always talk about it. But heaven forbid a neighbor criticize uncle Leo! Thems fightin words!

We all know Kanter is right. But heaven forbid an-ex player comes out and says it!

Yeah he did exactly what all the other mis-managed players did, right? I am sure Hayward quit, Favors purposely didn't bring it, and Burks bitched and asked for a trade. And don't get hung up on quotes. The one that stands out to me is him full on admitting he didn't bring it every time he stepped on the court. Yeah, everyone has a bad day, or even a string of them, but what kind of sorry loser getting paid millions to play a game sits on his hands and still cashes the check? With that kind of attitude we don't need him. Go watch Karl Malone's HOF acceptance speech. Now THAT is the kind of player we are looking for.

I hope Snyder put Gobert on kanter all night when kanter subs out Gobert comes out. when kanter goes in Gobert goes in. Gobert doesn't double he just smothers kanter all night

Just heard the audio, and I think it paints a different picture.

Which part? He said a lot of stupid **** in that interview, and some of it, like the stuff about professionalism, can't be read to mean anything less negative. I actually read the sentence everyone is going ape **** over the same way as you (he didn't mean that he didn't play hard).

He still said a lot of stupid ****, but when you hear him struggling to form sentences, you get the sense that he doesn't know the intensity of certain words. He also emphatically says he doesn't want to disrespect the organization. It was actually the most emphatic thing in the interview.

He's clearly frustrated, but I don't know if he can articulate why in a clear way with our language.

If I emphatically say I want to eat healthy, and then proceed to eat a tub of ice cream, the initial statement kind of isn't worth a damn. Only an idiot would still take that initial statement seriously after that.

I don't see anything wrong in the quotes in original OP. Am I missing something here? Why hate?

Kanter might have a problem with Corbin but he didn't stop there. He threw the entire organization under the bus. FO, coaches, players and fans. That's ********. Legit gripe my ***.

Not to mention he flat out admitted that he didn't play the best he could.
Lol, what did he say?
