College Basketball '14-15......

Ive been saying the entire year Wisconsin would beat UK when they matched up in the Tourney. Call it at the start of the season iirc.
 
The refs sucked complete *** to end the game though.

How is the slap to Gosser's face not a flagrant/technical?

Then they had weird make up calls for both sides because of bad calls on both sides. Like when Kaminksy cleanly picked Town's pocket in the final minute.
 
So what does Kentucky do now?
They could not have stockpiled more prospects.
They seem to be in a dilemma.

Yeah. UK will never win a chip.
After all, it's been 2012 since the last one.

@Cy - I have been nervous about Wiscy all season as well. **** that *****.
 
It's a shame that wasn't the title game. I don't care about tomorrow's so much.

UK had a banner season. Going 38-1 is pretty historic itself. Great season. On another day, they could have won that game.

It may be unfair, but that's not how they're gonna be remembered. It's gonna be all about how they didn't finish, and the "**** that ******" quote.

Fair or not, Kentucky is Darth Vader. They're lumped in with the Yankees, Lakers, Patriots, etc. New England went 18-1 in a season and unless you were a Pats fan, odds were you enjoyed watching the Giants ruin their shot at perfection.

Still got 3 top recruits now and will probably get one or more so they will be ok. Now ESPN in their recruit and return actually says they will be better next year. LOL. Their projected 5 (minus Booker which the guy apparently thinks will be back) would not scare me at all. UNC may finally have a better year then KY. Hopefully the guys will be back to taking fake classes so they can concentrate on hoops.

I hate how media has to pre-hype players and teams so damn much. I understand ratings, but damn..
 
It's hard to win with a team of mostly underclassmen, and it's hard to win out a season in a single-elimination tournament. There are plenty of examples, including the Michigan Fab Five and the Larry Johnson UNLV team.

100% agree. The best thing that could have happened to Kentucky was a late season loss, especially if it was in the SEC tourney. They still would have been the #1 overall seed and an indescribable amount of pressure would have been taken off their shoulders. Love or hate Kentucky, I don't see how you can expect 18-19 year old kids to deal with that kind of scrutiny.
 
I think I actually do care about the outcome of the title game this year. I really want Wisconsin to win. UCLA in '95 was the last title game I can remember not being mostly indifferent about....okay maybe I was secretly rooting for Utah in '98 too(which is why they lost). But at least since then.

Hmm does this count as a prediction? I'm wondering if I should just turn off the TV until the Duke trophy ceremony.
