LOL - yes because players like Steve Nash come around almost every year.
No they don't.... but we are due.
I can see it now... Jimmer grows his hair out, and is constantly putting it back behind his ear.

Myself just told me he didn't lie to me.
What are you, some kind of phsycoanalyzisithizer or somethin?
I keep hearing people say Jimmer can't play defense. I'm wondering whether those saying it are saying it because they've heard other people say it enough that they assume it must be true, assume he can't play defense cause he's white (and therefore either slow or unathletic), or have actually watched him play defense enough to have reached an informed conclusion.
I've not seen him play much, so I don't have an opinion. But this strikes me as an example of 'conventional wisdom' that may or may not be actually accurate.
Jimmer's defense is so outstanding, BYU pretty much runs zone to cover for him. His defense is non-exsistant. The list of players having never played defense, going to the NBA, and becoming solid defenders is very, very short. I wouldn't count on Jimmer being much more than a 15 min spark off the bench in the NBA.
That's pretty much it defensively. He actually ends up guarding the 2 a lot in college as well because a lot of 2's are spot up shooters and don't have much driving ability at that level, and Jackson Emery ends up sticking the 1. To be a starter in the NBA he certainly would need to put up big offensive numbers to cover for his lack of defense.
Perhaps because he is so important to BYU on the offensive side they smartly dont want him to kill himself on defense. So maybe then in the NBA he will be able to concentrate more on defense. Not trying to say he will be a good defender, but adequate like Nash.
