What's new

Jazz @ Wizards, 2/26, 3pm MT (5pm ET for me)...

Concerns from the game - our bench was trash, except for a couple of moments from JJ and Diaw, but Snyder adjusted by playing our starters for long stretches. Hope that doesn't come back to bite us against OKC, but everyone should still be fresh from the All-Star break.

We also fell apart late in the 3rd quarter and let our 24-point cushion be cut in half by the end of the quarter, then be halved again to 6 with two minutes left. Hayward restored our double-figure lead with two unanswered buckets around a Wall turnover, but we then bumbled our way through the final minute or so, turning it over twice and failing to score a field goal, amongst other misdemeanours. We couldn't even execute when they waved the white flag and brought in the scrubs - who knew inbounding the ball was such a difficult thing?

Yes, let's all dwell on the couple negatives right after we kick *** on one of the hottest teams in the NBA and the 3rd best home record in the NBA.

Just got back from the game—THAT was fun…an excellent road win…the Jazz were just simply dominant inside…and Gordo had the crowd oohing and awing…outside of a few yahoos the crowd seemed to recognize why the Jazz shot 19 more free throws…the Wiz D was constantly out of position and playing catch-up while the Jazz knew, for the most part, where they needed to be and were waiting for them…well done!

on a flatter jazz note you just have to see Exum in person to realize how bad he actually sucks…I swear there is no sweat at the end of that game if not for the few minutes he was on the floor…he would have all he could handle as a mid-major college guard…

I also saw more Jazz fans at this game than any previous game in DC over the last 5 years…not a ton mind you, but build it and they will come…

He looked probably worse than he has all season, even watching on the broadcast to be fair. I don't think people should be too quick to jump on him, he's been good lately but will undoubtedly have plenty of ups and downs throughout the rest of the season.

To be fair, I think it would do us all well to acknowledge the negatives in games like this, just as it would be good if we could relish the positives from our next loss. Unless Mantis is just always a negative nancy, I don't know their post history.

We didn't "kick ***". We had some good stretches, but we had some awful ones as well. Inability to hold big leads has cost us several Ws this season, this could easily have gone the other way when they had the momentum with 2 minutes left.
