Unless it was a deal for a pick, I wouldn't want squat of the NY roster except for K.P (and that will never happen lol)

If we wait until after next season, we probably lose him for nothing. I just don't see how we can make all the payroll decisions this off-season and still have the ability to sign Favors after next season. I firmly believe Favors is going to bounce back physically and have a great year and probably require an offer in the $25M/season range. His skill set of being able to cover stretch PFs and potentially be a 15 pts/9 rebs per game players are tougher to find.
 
I don't know about guarding stretch 4s so much, but he's a top class PF when healthy. We'll probably hear something about him the next few days.

Yeah his value will be zero after this season. It could be a little bit higher at the trade deadline if he has had a healthy year and is playing well. It's not a great situation either way to recoup value.
