What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Jazz are on the semi-break, Gobert sets a screen for Hayward at the 3-pt line. Hayward drifts behind the screen, gets two defenders engaged, then swings a pass to Lydon who catches and drills a 3 from above the break in less than a second. The Jazz haven't had a quick-release shooter like that at the 4 before. It's a nice weapon to have.

God I hope that Clarkson one isn't true. He is just bad bad bad. If we just want shooting then take Green off of San Antonio's hands.

Shooter and a pg?

Awesome

Faves for CP3 and Neto + Burks for Beal.

Draft Bell. Unleash B-Boy and Bell to man the 4. Lose Lyles by tricking him into chasing after some squirrel on Ensign Peak.

Get it done

I don't know where to be posting links to stuff... here or the other thread?

We should have it all in this thread... I started the other thread because there were rumors and I didn't want to get the old "move to general NBA"

I did some analysis of his game last year. Surprisingly enough he compared well to players like JJ Redick as an off-ball, running off-screens shooter.

He was in an awful situation... he's a decent player.

I don't know why some of you are down on Lydon. He's a 6'10" guy who can shoot 50-40-85, while holding his own on the boards and making an effort to defend. He really stands out to me once you get to the 20s in this draft.

I just don't see him developing into anything more than a backup 3/4 that is probably just a shooting specialist. I don't see his defense or rebounding translating. He gets weakside blocks and steals because of the 2-3 zone. It also inflates his rebounding numbers. I don't think he can guard NBA 3's well enough to ever be a starter. And he'll be bullied if he's guarding NBA 4's. I'm hoping for someone with more upside.

Oh come on man... this says nothing of the sort. Follow the sources... it says some Lakers writer said Lakers might want to trade Clarkson and it says some Jazz writer said he THINKS Jordan Clarkson would be good addition for the Jazz. There is absolutely no link to make to the point of "Jazz like Jordan Clarkson" or "Jazz have interest in Jordan Clarskon"
