Following potential 2017 draftees...

Per Chad Ford:
A number of GMs believe that Jackson received a draft promise after an impressive first day at the NBA combine. The question is where.

Several teams in the 20s are potential culprits. The Jazz don't historically make promises to players and I don't think they did here, but they like him and his combination of athleticism and shooting are a fit.

Jody says we are talking with Minny. #30 and Favs for Rubio? #24 and capspace?

Shooter better not be Anderson... would be so short sighted.

I don't know why some of you are down on Lydon. He's a 6'10" guy who can shoot 50-40-85, while holding his own on the boards and making an effort to defend. He really stands out to me once you get to the 20s in this draft.

Yeah, why would we trade up to get him though?

If the Jazz move up, its for one of the Collins, Mitchell or maybe Kennard imo. Im sure they'd take Monk too if they could get that high, but it's unlikely.

Yeah, given Thib's comments about wanting a big man who can defend and block shots, Favors to them makes some sense.

I'd rather have Lydon at 24 than Kennard at 12 or so plus whatever it cost to move up. I think Kennard is the obvious target if you move up for a shooter and I am really not a big fan. There is stuff to like but I worry about his length and athleticism at the next level.

The Jazz apparently like Jordan Clarkson, and the Lakers are willing to move him. Something to keep an eye on. Just not as high a priority as the PG situation.

Per an article by Andy Larsen Favs house was put up for sale on Tuesday.
