Teodosic supposedly on his way

Of course not full-time off the ball. I'm more worried about CP3 adapting than Harden.

But I highly doubt this isn't a top 3 offense in the NBA next year.

CP gonna become a spot up shooter? Because I would do all I could as the opposing team to make that happen.

You would? Chris Paul shot 41% this year on 3's and was near the bottom of the league in open catch and shoot attempts. Teams can play with 2 ball-handlers, it's not like it's that hard. Nearly every does it.

I'd love to see Hill back, with Teodosic as his primary backup. I think Teo @ MLE money would be a great insurance policy. I'm still not sold on Exum, although I'd still like him to get ~15 mins/game so maybe have some lineups with Hill and Exum or Teodosic and Exum.

If we do that we just need to trade Exum.

Only way Hill is back is if G says he only comes back if Hill stays, and I don't think G does that. The Jazz are more unhappy with Hill then most people know, I'll leave it at that.

There seems to be a lot of posters in this thread that say Teo won't come to Utah in a back-up role. That confuses me a little because just going off of memory, I don't seem to remember many Euro PG's coming to the NBA and getting handed a starting job.

Personally, I'd be nervous as hell if Utah's "Plan A" at PG is signing and starting Teo.

I dont think he has to be a starter, but I think you need to have a defined minutes role for him, at least 25 mpg.

If we do that we just need to trade Exum.

Hopefully Exum has put in work and has truly improved as touted by the Jazz. If so, and we get Teo, we can wait until the trade deadline and get more value. If we don't get Teo, hopefully Exum has turned the corner and will be a reliable producer.

Even if Hill leaves, the Jazz backcourt isn't in that bad of shape. Worst case scenario is that you let Exum/Hood/Burks/Jingles/Mitchell fight it out for two starting spots. Not sure that keeps Hayward in Utah. . . but the Jazz don't NEED to make a big move for a starting guard. They have some options.

Why is everyone assuming this guy can play? I have real doubts that he has enough athleticism to stay on the court... I think his defense will make him unplayable.
Why do you assume his defense is as bad as you think it is? Or that it is so bad it outweighs the offense he brings to the table?

He was come playoffs

Two things wrong with this.

1. Horny had physical limitations, but played like he cared, and still played a physical brand of defense.

2. Just because u can shoot doesn't mean u are going to be good or even make it in the NBA. Exhibit A. I give u the Jimmer. There isn't a sweeter J around, and yet no one wants the Jimmer, and no one could make him fit. They all tried and failed miserably.

Lol. Jimmer could score. He was not on off ball shooter. Big difference. If Jimmer could catch and shoot, he'd be in the NBA.

I think the only way that's an acceptable PG situation going into the season is if the Jazz make a move (presumably trade) to get another high impact player on the team, such as perhaps Paul George.
