Jazz

Maybe not so unlikely. It looks like they have a pretty tough schedule and the Jazz will have the opportunity to pick up a full game to end the season. Assuming the Jazz win the final game the blazers are only ahead 2.5 games.

Damn.

Maybe we do have a shot.

Adams is such a beast.
Yep, probably Goberts toughest matchup in the whole league. He is so strong and knows how to use it.

I consider the Blazers out of reach... and I would like some breathing room from the "dropping out of the playoffs scenario"... we still got a few tough games of our own.
Ya, after reading your post and a few others, I now feel the same.

Looks like OKC might pull this out.

Assuming 1/2/3 goes HOU/GS/POR, who'd you rather play out of the remaining contenders in the West? Take two teams out of the equation (for me, I'll say DEN/LAC miss):

1. Minnesota - Butler's injury hurts them so much.
2. New Orleans - Davis is so good, but that's all they have.
3. San Antonio - Not sure Leonard ever plays for them again.
4. Oklahoma City - Hate the matchup. They always seem to have our number.
I agree with your list in that same order.

They might be out of reach to Utah but OKC might catch them (even though Portland already owns the tie-breaker).

In fact it might be a good idea for Jazz fans to root for OKC here on in. I know Corey Brewer doesn't move the needle for a lot of folks around here but he's an improved shooter who can still run the floor like a gazelle. And he's out there covering the opposing team's best players. To think OKC picked this guy up off the scrap heap.

I still don't get why people would rather play OKC than Portland. We match up way better with Portland than OKC. And Steven Adams is the guy in the league who seems to give Gobert the toughest time. We need Gobert to own if we are going to win a series. Let OKC take the third seed and lets hold on to the fourth or fifth and have a battle of Dame vs Dame 2.0

im with fallen here, jazz vs blazers probably is our best bet, and then in the 2nd round vs the rockets. Legit chance vs both teams ( assuming choke harden and cp3 show up again)

Im with ya. OKC scares me a bit. (plus the refs will favor them a ton). Portland doesn't scare me.

I would rather play Minnesota. Give Rubio some extra motivation. Let Portland, and OKC fight out who gets golden State. Maybe San Antonio gets kawhi Leonard back and the 8 seed and at least make it a series vs Houston.

Leastern Conference ****ing up the works again. Boston looks pedestrian against a middle of the road WC team.

WTF is Gordon? Still looking for sympathy from that slightly turned ankle? ****ing *****.
