2018 Championship Bus!!!!

Imagine if NO beats GS. When we beat Houston that would be a great WC Final. Of any Playoff team, I would want to play NO as we owned them. OKC is a nasty team - I dreaded playing them and the Jazz won.

Kind of weird to be playing against Joe Johnson.

Mitchell and Rudy are the greatest free agent recruitment tool ever.

There is a lot of truth to this. Utah isn't going to be LA or NY, but Utah is a great team and organization top to bottom with a proven development program and a ton of room to grow. Utah also has two stars (superstars?) in Gobert and Mitchell that don't have egos beyond healthy confidence. Bonus points because Gobert doesn't demand the ball to eat your soul. The concept is team first and everyone plays within the system. We'll have to trust Lindsey and the Millers to market that, but it's pretty much an ideal situation for someone who can live within the team and wants to win.

Jazz had two of the GOAT's in Stockon and Malone, were perennial contenders and still could not attract even fringe all-stars or solid starters to complete the team. Two trades fell through due to players threatening not to report.

Deron at one time was almost as pro-Utah as Donovan.. I remember his quote about getting players to come to Utah. That failed, and undoubtedly was one of the reasons he was evasive about staying (and I think would have left). He saw that NO ONE of import was putting Utah at the top of their wish list.

I'm not sure that even the personality of Donovan will be able to overcome that. Utah has gotten FA's by outbidding everyone else or going after players no one else has wanted (Boozer, Memo; Udoh and Jerebko this year). Even JJ likely signed because Utah gave him $11m and probably his best offer elsewhere was MLE or lower. Jazz are likely going to need to grow their own (draft or lightly-regarded FA's), or trade for and hope players stay. Other than that, I see perhaps foreign players or a small niche of family-oriented players or those with Utah or religious ties (like Love or Jabari).

Doesn't mean Dennis shouldn't make phone calls, but I'd bet $100 we ain't getting Klay or Kwahi in 2019.

I still say the most likely scenario is
1. Cavs don't survive in the East and Lebron flees to Philly or LA
2. Favors gets a big offer from Atlanta (or another team)
3. Jazz trade for Love

He knows he's using it incorrectly just like when someone toes the arc and he says long 3, or when someone is clearly deep inside the arc and he says so or so for 3.

He has to fill up the mic for a couple hours so he uses a ton of filler catchphrases combined with obvious stupidity for some reason.

Hot Rod had plenty of his own but he didn't play the dunce. Stockton on the bell high dribble.
Belt high, toilet boy.

Could the salary cap and current CBA be different than it was back in the Karl and John days? Could the small marker vs large market play less of a role today than back in John and Karl days with athletes getting exposure much easier with the current social media era and more media in general?

Gonna bring back some crayfish, octopus, crabs, beef, cheese and maybe some wallaby. Not a bad weekend on the fang.

Explain “on the fang”. That a place?

I ate a restaurant called wallabys tonight for dinner.

On the fang is to eat or have eaten. Or in this case to bring a **** load of top notch produce home to eat, all told the box I'm bringing home is probably worth a thousand bucks, likely only cost me a couple of hundy.
