2011 draft.....

I don't see Bogut at all. And if he's Bogut, then draft the **** out of him.

But he's not.

Just sat here and watched Chris Singleton and Kawhi Leonard do it. As you can imagine, it takes them a while to get tired. - Chris Littman's twitter account

Oh my gosh is that real? Some people really need to think before they say random stuff like that, but I still lol'd.

He made a tweet before that about a standing dunk drill, that is what he was reffering to when said "do it", but it sounds funny if you only see the 2nd tweet

Okay, I'm totally sold with Jimmer at 12 now.

Considering Bogut's vertical and standing reach where both higher than Kanter's during the combine, it would not surprise if Bogut could have done that pre-injuries.

That interested me so I checked it out.
- Bogut has 1" on Kanter in Standing Reach (more than I would have thought)
- Bogut had 1" better max vertical (again, more than I would have thought)
- Kanter benched once more than Bogut (this actually surprised me a little)
- Kanter showed both better speed and much better agility (no surprise there)

The positives I take from this is I believe it bodes well for Enes playing either C/PF.

Ok I want the draft to be here. I have made my decision ... the Utah Jazz with the 3rd pick in the 2011 NBA draft select from Turkey .. Enes Kanter.

This guy is my pick. The only problem I have is he might not be there.

For those who put much stock on interviews, Jim Rome had one with Dwill earlier this week. He sounded pretty empty headed to say the least. He even said something like, "I didn't leave Arizona for the draft because of the money." Rome laughed at that pathetic comment, as did I. Whenever somebody says something like that, we all know what the real answer was.

I cambered kanter to bogut because their post moves are very similar. The both use their shoulders to create space and knock the defender off his stance.

I agree, I see no reason for Minny to take Williams, and I hope the Jazz don't take DWill either. Trade down if Kanter isn't there.

Why is everybody saying if Derrick Williams is available at #3 the Jazz should pass on him? Just because Locke posted one scouting report and said he doesn;t go hard, doesn't mean everybody should change their opinion on him. Before that nobody was mentioning anything about him being lazy or he has no work eithic. If Williams is available at #3 I would hope the Jazz would take him, he is considered the one or two sure prospects in this draft. Not to mention he might have the highest potential out of everyone.

Drafting Williams is like drafting another Millsap, who thought of that? Williams is a small forward and plays nothing like Millsap. Williams is a MUCH better offensive player, but not as good of a rebounder as Millsap.

We have Millsap! At one time I was high on him, when that wore off I realized he is Millsap all over mabey a little more athletic and a little taller he's a pf we have plenty of thoughs. He's not a sure thing. There aren't any of thoughs this year.

We don't need two Millsaps.

Was looking at Lockes draft analysis, and then watched some random YouTube highlights and he reminds me a little like a former sg for the jazz. This is a player who had the best midrange game in ut. history in my opinion, Jeff Malone.

Jeff Malone was a total assassin from 15 feet out, not a great 3 point shooter but could get his shot off anywhere from 15 feet out with little to no room. Burks seems to have some of that Jeff Malone flair to his game.

I've never seen him play but watching the Locke thing and other random highlights that's what I saw.

Thoughts.

1) Millsap is not taller than Derrick Williams, regardless of what his current measurements say.

2) Millsap is not the explosive offensive talent that Williams is.

3) If Derrick Williams is available at #3, the Jazz should draft him. There is not a better wing player in this draft.

Have a nice day.
