One draft prospect that you don’t want the Jazz to pick

Playing hard and aggressive are desirable traits. Playing dirty is loathsome and I never want a guy like that on the Jazz.

If Allen were on the Jazz, he would destroy every bit of goodwill DM brings.

Did you hate John Stockton? Cause he was dirty as hell. So was Malone.

I don’t know that there’s any pick I’d hate. Even though I don’t really like Allen, I don’t know that I’d hate it. I see me walking away feeling disappointed as very unlikely. Contrast that to the Lyles draft where I looked up his numbers, watched his highlights, and thought, “holy **** — there nothing to be excited about!” Then had to fall back on “oh he didn’t get playing time and he was playing out of position.”

A good majority of us didn’t like the Trey Lyles pick or the Tony Bradley pick in the past couple of years. Luckily, DL turned Lyles and a draft pick into Mitchell and of course the jury is still out on Bradley.

It’s simple, say who the one player you don’t want the Jazz to pick is. We all will unconditionally support who we draft 100% and honestly there aren’t much players who I absolutely hate in the Jazz draft range. I’ll start us off with..

Jacob Evans

I won't support "unconditionally". If they make a stupid decision, I'm opening my mouth and saying something whether its popular or not. Hopefully DL doesn't do something stupid.

Well, "stupid" is very objective. About the only thing I'd openly criticize is if Dennis forgot to turn in a pick. There are about 12 players I could find reasons to like or dislike that may be available at #21.

Not the same. Stockton set hard picks, and other teams didn't like it. He didn't trip people or Malone elbow/kick/knee people.
You can find a dirty plays video for Allen and he hasn't even entered the NBA yet. Can you find one on Stock? He had 19 years, there should be something that can be found other than trash talk videos of players calling him dirty or something. Please correct me if I'm wrong and post.

lol if you think those were just hard picks.

Stock went for the knees and groin frequently on screens, he was just sneaky about it. I suppose that’s better than tripping a guy though.

And Malone? Dirty.

Video evidence? There has to be something other than popular opinion. I have heard the talk for years, but don't remember, nor have I found anything visual I can point at and say "that was a dirty play".
Help me out.

I mean...if you never noticed over the 20 years of watching Stock, then you’re just going to come up with excuses for all of it. It’s obvious. Almost every player has said so, every analyst has said so, and anybody watching with unbiased eyes will see it. I can’t help you see what you don’t want to.

I'm not saying yea or nay. Just saying, after the fact, I'm having trouble finding video evidence to support the theme.
I've heard it a million times, but when I go to reinforce the idea... nothing.

Social media is one of the big reasons why we don’t miss anything now a-days.
