I think its more “how” you bring it up. Always in a kind of insulting kind of way. Btw rooting for a football team doesnt necessarily = supporting an lds institution.

This. He never tries to actual have a conversation with me about anything. Just tries to demean, insult, be-little, bully, etc.

Me too. In fact i dont really recall much or any bitching about his moderating style with the exception of one poster.
Dont really see much real bitching (there is some joking/fake bitching) about the mods around here at all and rarely ever see people get banned much.

I do see the occasional self ban though. I have gotten infractions for language, in appropriate pictures, and being a dick in an argument. I always deserved them (even the one i got for a picture i posted of myself and in the background my wife had her bird finger up that i didnt see when i posted the picture) and never blamed the mods. I just knew i had to be a bit more careful and so i changed my behavior a bit.

Its simple really. I grew up going hunting in the fall with my older brothers and father since i was basically a baby and after hunting on fall saturday mornings we would always watch the byu football game (while listening to the radio announcer on the radio lol. Only way my dad would do it)
Those memories are exremely precious to me and byu football always has a place in my heart.

Bro....

His fandom is monetized by the church (via TV ratings, merch sales, tickets, etc.). That money then forms a part of their donations/contributions to the causes that he is complaining about in this thread.

This isn't really a debatable thing. Sorry.

Supporting the football team certainly doesn't mean that you, therefore, support the whole institution. That's obvious. But your support does have real effects.... as I've explained.

Just accept it as a contradiction. As a way you're stepping on your own toes. But stop acting insulted by the person who's breaking no rules in how they're pointing this out to you. That's weakness.

lies. I tried repeatedly. For years. At one point I dubbed you "the dude I'd most want to have a beer with while watching a jazz game"; at another point I donated to the fund being put together for the birth of your child. There were other times, long past, where we united over Burks. And then I've reminded you of all these things at least two times. But then you trot out the alternate version quoted above. Over and over.

My favorite thing about all this is how your Demi-god Trout is guilty (way guiltier, actually) of every thing you accuse me of, but you'll stand in line for 3 days just to shine his shoes.

Another contradiction, I guess.

Was the audio from the radio always synced with what was taking place on the tv though?
