The Jazz are going to get slaughtered by GSW

The Jazz won their last game and were very good offensively. What are you taking about?

They had some nerves to start the game... outside of that they played well. Defense wasn’t ideal and there was some sloppy moments... I think people thought we’d win by 50 because of the preseason game... if they play their two young bigs more it’s a blowout but they played their more experienced guys and made a bunch of midrangers.

Furthermore, the Warriors played kind of like *** against a Thunder team missing 2 of their top 5 players at home on opening night.

Btw... we lose that game last year... that was a different version of the Atlanta games... the group has more collective confidence/experience and we have Exum and AB both functional and healthy.

I think everyone needs to take a deep breathe... wait 10-15 games before we make judgements one way or another.

Andre Iguodala and Draymond aren't 100% healthy. This could be an interesting game, and a close one if we guard their primary scorers. GSW's bench also isn't as deep and solid as it's been in years past. Iggy, Livingston, David West have lost a half step, and their back-up bigs aren't great rim protectors.

the warriors are in a different tier, they have 5 all star starters, but having this a home game could tilt the outcome in our favor, especially with this teams bench. If the bench explodes like it didn't Monday against the warriors non-existant bench then the jazz could do this.

TIL: Their starting center is an all-star

Also, "slaughter" and "laughter" are way too similar.

West retired, but proof of his irrelevance adds to your point.

Not until February. But I think the problem, sad to say, is playing Favors and Rudy together. It doesn't seem to be working in the current small ball game. Not sure how we can make it work because Rudy really has no offense except around the rim. And Derrick is less than average from the outside, which means we only have three guys who can shoot, and if Rubio is off as he has been, that means only two shooters. I think that is the problem in the NBA when shooting has become so important.

Lets make a drinking game out it.

Every made jingles 3? 2 shots for a dunk

I mean the offense was pretty damn good last night and both guys were really productive... the backcourt didn’t shoot well and had a ton of turnovers... I’m just not sure the Rudy Favs playing together was an issue at all.

I thought it was more like the bench was raining 3's because if you look at the +/- of the starters it was woeful.

Not to say it can't work but Faves was getting destroyed by Bjelicka. He can't really guard people on the perimeter and that's what he needs to do in small ball.

It was brown midsized average age... so it was much more exciting than the idea behind this thread.

A former colleague had a particular fetish for Labradors, actually it verged on the creepy. I think German Shepherds are lovely dogs, we had a particularly nice one come to work a couple of months ago, he'd bitten straight through the bone in the ankle of a bloke who'd done a home invasion. He was so happy his tail was wagging, good boy!

I’m not sure you watched the game...

Favs had 18 pts on 8 shot attempts... Bjelica had 18 on 12 attempts... they weren’t matched up the whole night or even very much at all. There is literally no case that Bjelica destroyed him.

Labs are fantastic... had two growing up... best dogs ever... I’m crying now... hope you are happy.

I'm referring to when they matched up on the perimeter. Of course, inside it's another matter. But it's the outside where Faves has problems and you'll note he scored most of his pts when Rudy was on the bench.
