***Hysterical overreaction thread***

To be fair to Exum, he looked very good in his limited minutes for maybe the first 5 - 10 games or so coming off the bench, scoring much more efficiently than he ever had in his career, and was looking to be aggressive a lot of the time. Seems like he's lost all confidence somewhere along the way and now he looks terrible. I don't think Exum will ever hit his full potential with Utah and I think him missing his second season with the ACL tear would be the major attributing factor to that, as that year was essentially the last year of the Jazz looking to rebuild and get better vs going into win now mode and the margin for error with Dante being incredibly short.

He took a number of bad shots last night. Ball passed to him, a guy right in his face, and he just shoots. No regard for finding the best, open shot. And the shot clock was not winding down.

You are really going to cry about him taking 3's in a game where no one could hit ****? At least he was willing to take the shots. An offense has to have those guys or else you are just going to watch Exum and O'Neale run weave action until the clock goes to 5 and they give it to some poor bastard who has to take a contested jumper or turnover.
 
Favors is best off the bench. Crowder is best as a 6th man. Rubio is in the bottom 3rd of PG in the league.

All 3 are great guys, good players, but playing bigger roles than they would on a contender.

Favors is prob our second/third best / most consistent player this year
 
I didn't say those guys weren't valuable. I said they are best suited in bench roles if they were on a contender.

Crowder was more of a product of a system in a very weak conference. And that was 2 years ago. He probably could be a starter if he was the 5th best starter.

I’m crying because I’m criticizing a player? Okay. It’s news to me they’re beyond reproach. It’s also news that this is the only option. Heave up a contested 3. Yep, I’m sure that one’s in Quin’s playbook.

They arent beyond reproach, but your criticism isnt valid.

Crowder plays so much because he is willing to take those shots. Our offense stalls out with guys like Exum/Royce who pass up shots.

The Jazz keep getting pummeled like this over and over again and you won't hear from me much. Of course, this is what happened last year, wasn't it? Jazz stunk it up in the 1st half of the season and then caught fire the 2nd half?
