What's new

Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

And I'm on the bandwagon that PGAB started, I love Weiskamp.

He's only 205, but he's got a big frame for a guy who can play 2 or 3. He's a knockdown shooter with a near 7' wingspan. He's got the type of body that looks like it can guard 2-4 and maybe some 1's.

From his highlights he seems to do a little of everything. Good shooter, driver, defender, passer. He seems to be in the right place at the right time.

The thing that impressed me the most though was his desire to win, and his passion for the game.

Could be our guy.

As of now, there is very little indication he's going pro next year. He probably needs a solid NCAA tourney (Iowa is most likely getting in barring a huge collapse) to build some draft buzz.

I compared him to Paul George, yes. I said he was the closest comp to Paul George in this draft. He is, but that's his ultimate ceiling.
Closest PG comp is Reddish. Cam has a ton of improving to do but if he can figure out how to play basketball and continue to improve (and he is improving) he'll basically be the same player at his ceiling.

Also I'd love to take a flyer on Markus Howard in the second round. He can score and get his shot at any level.

Also, I'd have no problem with an all UNC draft- Coby White first round - might be the most underrated prospect in the draft at this point and would be the second scorer the jazz need and at 6'5 can play both guard spots-- Cam Johnson 2nd round- sweetest shot in the draft and excellent size/length with adequate athleticism. Would be a great catch and shoot guy who can get his shot off.

Absolutely. Even if his jumper never gets there, he's a useful player. If he develops the jumper, he's a star.

Clarke looks like he can handle and create looks for himself a bit. He has good touch inside. His jumper is clunky though. I haven't watched him much, but what I've seen are mostly post-ups, drop-offs, lobs and put-backs inside. He might be an Aaron Gordon-caliber athlete though.

There is no PG comp in this draft. Let's just say that.

Outside of Zion I haven't watched much college basketball...

So looking at dudes projected where we will draft... PJ Washington kinda caught my eye as maybe a stretch 4 type... Is he good at basketball?
