Even still HH, is this what we would call a good game by Niang? He was all kinds of horrific on defense. As much as I am thankful for his 100 percent three point shooting, his defense cemented his negative result. Why are you choosing to disregard his defensive effort today?

Does it only take some solid offense to think a player played well? If so, then you've set a precedent HH. Let it then be that if Dante for example, hits a few shots but is a complete negative on defense, we can still say he had a good game.

You know what the fact is mate? If this was Dante, I would be furious with his defensive output, and would still recognize he had a bad game overall.

That wasn't what I was referring too nor said dumbass. I told you what I was talking about. Don't pick and choose other lines in your text when I clearly drew the picture for you. I know it's hard to read some times.

There are 4 other guys on the floor... he wasn’t great defensively... he never is... but he helped the offense stay afloat. It’s not about effort with Niang... it’s about being capable. He is slow, small, and can’t get off the floor... he’s being asked to guard on the perimeter more than is ideal for sure. Good games are relative... tonight was a good one game for Georges and he gave us more than Green, Davis, Bradley... I don’t expect the guy to shut the other team down... he hit a few shots and grabbed a few boards and played within himself... the defensive output is not 100% on him.

So every other aspect of his game which is a negative is just accepted then? Niang is never great at any other aspect of basketball so we'll just skip over it.

You are a trolling douchebag... You lol’d that -10 was a good outing and that I said he was good tonight... proceeded to pull up ******** from other games... you going on the ignore list... please reciprocate... I don’t believe in casting these internet pearls before swine.

This is where I will leave it, he was good on the offensive end, his precision shooting was good, and needed. But I will not gloss over his awful, awful defensive effort today.

he’s a good passer and solid ball handler for a forward. If he shoots 100% from three on good volume then hells yes I’ll look past some defensive shortcomings... not all of those defensive issues were on him.

-10 still means the opposing team out scored us by 10 points while he was on the floor. It's like he ONLY played the Green on the floor. Niang is not good. He's never good when he's on the floor.

I agree, his hustle is great at times too, i can recognize where he can play well, but like I said in my previous post HH, I will not gloss over his severe negative aspects. Shall we leave it there?

He was good tonight and I’ve been a consistent supporter... even when his numbers weren’t great.

If a guy has a good game I will praise him... Mudiay has had a consistent positive plus minus... he’s also consistently on the floor with many starters.

I’m cool praising as many players as I feel are playing well.

I'm proud for a dude who was a hard negative last year, to being positive this year. I think playing with better players certainly helps. He still has to go out onto the court and do it, and he has for the most part.
