I did some actual checks on India's rate of infections on vaccinated vs. unvaccinated. I didn't find anything. Probably, someone confused India with israel (which, having vaccinated something like 95% of the population, would of course have more cases among the vaccinated). Since you like the narrative, you gobbled up the dung without stopping to sniff it first.
You mean, like saying "If people ... end up with side effects 10 years down the line, you don't get **** either", which was false? That was your deceit. How about saying, "The vaccine companies got laws passed which removes liability for this experimental vaccine.", which was false, since the law had been on the books for decades? Also a lie. Also a lie in that the vaccine companies can still be sued for willful neglect.
It's certainly more accurate, and doesn't sound all that terrible after all.
There are TENS OF THOUSANDS of healthy people who get heart or kidney failure every year, without fail, just in the hospital system I work for in a largish midwestern city. If no one discovered a case of heart or kidney failure after taking the vaccine, that would mean the vaccine was preventing it. The vaccine didn't cause it, any more than Loki or a solar eclipse.

CDC now recommending everyone in K-12 wear masks again - imagine we are going to see a very large divide on states/districts where they take this to heart.
A big thank you to all of the dumbasses who stopped wearing masks, social distancing and just practicing common sense and just pretended they were vaccinated that have led us to retreat because freedom. Keep cheering for our lack of vaccination progress so we can spend more time, money and lives combatting this.

I wish the CDC recommended that all unvaccinated stay home until they get vaccinated. Why should I wear a mask because a bunch of selfish dumbasses refused to get vaccinated? Make the anti-vaxxers change their lives, not me.

While people putting their masks back on indoors will help reduce the spread of Covid-19 across the country, getting more Americans vaccinated is still central to ending the pandemic, US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy said Tuesday.
“Vaccination rates have hit a wall, and that could have serious consequences, said Dr. Paul Offit, director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
"Now we are at a point where there is a solid 25 or 30 percent of the population that's saying they don't want to get vaccinated, that they are okay with allowing this virus to continue to spread, continue to do harm and, worst of all, continue to possibly create variants that are going to be resistant to vaccine-induced immunity," Offit said.
And vaccinated people will likely pay a price for those choices, CNN medical analyst Dr. Leana Wen said. Even though vaccines offer strong protection against the virus, being surrounded by unvaccinated people could lead to infection spillover, and vaccinated people could get sick or pass on the infection to their loved ones, she said”

My understanding is that severe side effects usually show up within two months of the vaccination. Can anyone cite examples where severe side effects developed 10 years after a vaccine, and were proven to have to be a side effect of a specific vaccine?

Yeah, I did not enjoy going back to masks. But, it’s not a tremendous hardship, it wasn’t the first go round, and it won’t be this time, but I was one of only a very few wearing a mask at the supermarket this morning, not helpful, but to be expected at this stage still. We don’t usually go to crowded outdoor events, other than a crowded ocean beach on a blistering summer day, but I’ve skipped the real packed beaches this summer, and will continue avoiding those beaches. Of course, a little less fun in the summer sun is nothing to really complain about, compared to true hardship. “Freedom!” is just another way of saying “I’m entitled!” where refusing vaccines for no good reason(s) is concerned. Very selfish, dumbed down and heading lower…..

This has nothing to do with following the science. The new mask mandates are authoritarianism for the sake of authoritarianism. Deaths from SARS-CoV-2 are at their lowest point since the pandemic began.
Everyone should get vaccinated but wearing a cloth mask does nothing but outwardly signal compliance to authority. So long as people are willing to wear them the government never has to give up emergency powers.

I didn't fake the statistics. I can also robustly support my contention that anything other than an N95 mask doesn't do much. Being that there are no mandates on the certification of masks being used during pandemic spikes like there are on nearly every other mandated safety item (seat belts, baby car seats, motorcycle helmets, etc) it is easy to argue that effectiveness of the safety measure isn't the point.

Deaths are always trailing so they will tail up, but our peaks are going to be much less dynamic now that we can treat it better and a younger median age is becoming sick.
That's the lipstick on the pig anyway - still going to be a rough fall heading into what will likely be a rougher winter with some more human capital. A bit of a sad state affairs when we consider nearly 300 people from a preventable illness dying a good day.
I do have some slight worry that the markets will see some correctness downwards with continued global volatility.

They haven't so far. The delta variant first started infecting people 8 months ago and now make up something like 70% of new cases and in 8 months here the death rate has only gone down. Delta is more transmissible but it isn't statistically more deadly. With the delta variant, vaccinated people are catching a cold and getting over the cold. It sucks greatly if you're unvaccinated, and doubly so if you have comorbidities, so everyone should get vaccinated but for the vaccinated this isn't a health crisis. Requiring fully vaccinated people to wear unregulated cloth masks isn't about saving anyone's life.
There are over 330 million people in the US and a lot die every day. Per the CDC over 1,900 people died per day from accidents. More people right now are dying daily from Alzheimer's than SARS-CoV-2. I'm not saying it isn't a big deal and I don't understand why some are so resistant to getting vaccinated but I also am rolling my eyes pretty hard at government reinstituting mask mandates for vaccinated people.

Accidents and Alz are not communicable diseases. We can’t stop accidents from happening and we’ve poured billions into Alz research.
